Cheap price and great location. Not a fan of their services or training class. Not happy with weekend hours ending at 5pm. There used to be some passionate happy trainers two years ago,but now I associate this location more with laziness, indifference and unprofessional behaviours. During the worst period, there were so many times the female washrooms ran out of toilet paper ,and wipes of course. I stopped taking group classes many months ago because it’s hard to have faith in a trainer who talked loudly about hangover while the same washroom stall was out of toilet paper for two hours. And the training was, boring. To be fair, it has been improving for the last couple of months since the lead blonde was gone. Hopefully the new blood will bring on more positive energy

The best gym in downtown with new and modern equipment. They have tons of cardio equipment. Disinfectant wipes and water machine system are unique and another star for this location. Because of the quality of equipment they are sometimes busy but I give them Six star. The membership cost is unbeatable. The water view is like looking at the heaven.

Avoid the Downtown location, go to any other gym or other Club 16 locations. This is by far the worst gym I have ever been to. I used to go to the Club 16 in Burnaby and although they get busy, I do see cleaners maintaining the equipment unlike the Downtown location. The only thing good about the Downtown Club 16, is the location. Otherwise, everything is filthy, the equipment is sticky, sweat stains are present everywhere, they are always out of wipes, the sinks are always broken, they never refill their soap, there are no paper towels and the bathrooms smell. As I was leaving one evening I noticed a lost water bottle in the Shes Fit area and it was still there the next day which clearly shows how poorly this gym is maintained. The treadmills in the Shes Fit side rattles and none of them have not been fixed during my year at this location. But wait, there is more, the staff are extremely rude. They do not acknowledge you, they ignore you, even if you have an appointment. I had an appointment with a rep once and I waited for 20 minutes while I watched him socialize with his peers. I was going to leave so I interrupted his conversation to ask how long it would be and he then immediately took me in. I am a small person, around 115 lbs. I was told I was OBESE after my fit test (exact words). There must have been a better way to tell a person they are unfit than use critical words such as obese! In addition, they tried to charge me for this fit test after I was told it was free in person (initially when I booked this) and on the phone (when I rescheduled and confirmed appt). This place may be cheap but not worth a penny of your earned money. Now that my one year is up I have cancelled my membership and I am happy to give my honest review on this place!

I wish I could give 0 start specially just because of one of the staff member she don't know how to handle customers at all and she did not listen my question and keep talking making prediction what i am calling about not letting me to talk and saying she is not in customer service when she pick up call well lady if u are facing customer then ur job is defiantly part of customer service otherwise should work in back office. They did not resolve my issue and just passing ball to each other club saying need to talk to administer and office saying need to talk to your membership club.

Charged me $95 instead of the monthly fee of $20 because I changed credit cards and forgot to call to change the information. They did not notify me by phone/email that they would charge me extra $20 service fee if they couldn't take the monthly payment. They waited until I was overcharged twice to finally email me. Apparently there have been many complaints about this issue from other members and staff. The excuse is that they are currently changing systems so only some people get the notification and some don't. To be fair, Club16 should have a warning before implementing the extra charge.
