Coach House has the best prime rib I've ever had, and I can count on it to be delicious on every visit. Their house salads are wonderful, and the secluded garden atmosphere is soothing. The staff are friendly and welcoming. This is my favorite dining spot in town.

The atmosphere and service was great. We sat outside in the covered seating (converted greenhouse) It was very pleasant with flowers and plants and it was not too hot or humid. Our server was very nice. The food however was not the greatest. Got the Cajun bbq oysters, the fried cod/squid/shrimp dish and a bowl of clam chowder. The oysters we're covered with carrots and some bland cheese. The fried food had bland breading. The chowder was pretty​ good but thin and only had 1 good clam. The food was not bad, just not great either.

We have been to Coach House 4 times over the last year and each time our food and service has been progressively worse. The first time we ate there it was delicious and the service was awesome!The second time we ate there service was slow but at least the food was still good. Third time half of the meals were cooked correctly and service was still really slow. The last time we ate there was for my husbands birthday and he really wanted a good steak so we thought we would give Coach House one more try. The service was extremely slow (we were there for nearly 2 hours). The menus look like they have seen better days (some were missing pages). My husband got his steak and it was so overcooked and dry. He said it was the worst steak he's ever had. My meal wasn't any better than his as my chicken was also overcooked and dry. The service and food have gone down hill since the first time we dined at Coach House and we will not be returning.

Deep fryer wasn't working. Multiple steaks out of stock. The steak I had was ok. Slightly overcooked. The garlic mash potatoes and sautéed vegetables were amazing though. Overall not bad. Maybe swing by when the deep fryer is working again.

Lovely server, Jessica was pleasant and helpful. We ordered separate appetizers and requested that they be served at the same time. My husband had finished his chowder, been served his appetizer of Cajun Oysters, and had his plate removed to the kitchen..I still had nothing served to me (except my cocktail) for several more minutes after his plate had been cleared. I did not complain to Jessica as it was not her error. The fault lies with the kitchen. I am sure she noticed my cranky face, but I did not want to get started fussing at someone who was not responsible for my displeasure.
