We stopped here on the way to the mountains, and, boy, are we glad we did! Their food is AMAZING. Free rolls not the Hawaiin kind and cornbread. We all agreed that it was the best cornbread we've ever had, including our Mama's. They give really good portions, and we didn't have to wait long to be seated or to get out food after we ordered. The hostess was so nice too! She came and checked on us a few times in addition to our waiter, who also did a good job. We planned to stop somewhere else on our way home after our trip, but we're changing our plans and coming back here instead! Kid-friendliness: This place is great for kids! They not only have a kids menu but also gave my nephews 5 and 10 coloring sheets. The waiter and hostess also interacted with them both, asking them questions and keeping them entertained. When my youngest nephew started crying near the end of dinner, the waiter was patient with us and didn't judge at all. Wheelchair accessibility: Coach House has ample parking, including handicap spaces. The entrance is handicap accessible, and the restaurant itself is as well. They have both table and booths, and there's plenty of room in between. The restrooms are partially accessible. Someone in a wheelchair might have a hard time with a right turn on the left to get down the hall with the restrooms, possibly in the door if they're headed to the men's restroom. The door is on the right, so getting the door open and the turning radius may be iffy. The stalls in the women's restroom are plenty big--I was even impressed with the non-handicap stall I used since the other was taken. It was pretty big, and there was a grab bar in there too. Unfortunately, the space between the stalls and sinks is really small. I was able to maneuver my walker easily, but someone in a wheelchair might have a hard time unless they're in a standard chair and do some maneuvering.
Met family for dinner here, wouldn't have been my first choice of dining but the food was pretty good. I wasn't expecting the amount of food on the plate,i couldn't even eat it all! Fish and grits w/ cheddar broccoli and hush puppies on the side. Not pictured Didn't pay too much attention to the interior, a little dark and gloomy in my opinion but family friendly for large groups. Waitress was nice and food was hot, so that's all that really mattered in the end.
Outstanding locally owned restaurant. They serve breakfast all day. They offer a great selection of a meat and two vegetables for lunch and dinner. They have multiple homemade desserts that are delicious. The service is absolutely top-notch. If you’re visiting the area I highly recommend having a meal at the coach house
Was looking for a place to eat nice breakfast for my birthday. We decided to go to a place in Simpsonville. We were seated in timely manner and staff were friendly. I ordered stuffed cherry pancakes.. Eggs and Turkey sausage. My friend ordered Corn beef hash and potatoes. His son quickly gobbled a sausage biscuit. I had enough for breakfast the next day. Vegetarian options: Veggie options available Kid-friendliness: Kid Menu available Parking: Lots of parking Wheelchair accessibility: On ground level
First time here and enjoyed a simple dinner/ breakfast. The complimentary corn muffins on the table were really good, we split an omelette for dinner and it was good, hash browns/ potatoes on the side were ok I wouldn’t get those again. The cannolis at the front looked so good so decided to try one and not bad!
Excellent food! Warm atmosphere and friendly staff. There's a good selection of food for every appetite - hefty portions too!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: Yes
The pecan sesame chicken used to be 2 real breasts with a delicious crunchy breading and lots of pecans and sesame. Tonight I counted 5 pecans and NO sesame seeds on two chicken tender “breasts” that were maybe 1/4” inch thick. Still edible but not at all what it should have been like. I’ve lived in Simpsonville almost 20 years and am so disappointed that at least one of their entrees has changed completely to poor quality. When it was new on the menu it was so delicious so that’s what I was looking forward to. The waitress offered for them to make another, but I told her I didn’t want to chance getting it prepared the same way again. When I paid I got another apology as I showed them what it looked like in the takeout container. They offered to remake it but I told them no again for the same reason. At that point the hostess should have at least offered a piece of dessert for the dissatisfaction. Nothing. I was surprised at that. For the meat and two vegetables I paid $15.99, which way too much money for what I got. It’s gotten too expensive for the amount of food served and I don’t plan on going back. Coach House is not like it used to be in the way of portions and quality food.
Great place for "comfort" food. This place has a great variety of classic comfort foods. We had an open face roast beef sandwich, which was excellent. Try this place out if you are looking for some home cooking.
Made a put stop leaving outta Greenville. Great service and the pancakes and sausage were amazing. The pancakes were huge. Very delicious. Will definitely come back if I am in the area again
The macaroni was bland and taste just like krafts that I could’ve bought at a store I ordered two plates and two drinks to go to add up to 44 and some change ! Took the drinks off it only came down to 36 .And was mad at me cause I wasn’t about to pay that . Food is bland , terrible, over priced. Do better I promise I will never come back . I just ate the food and feel like I’ve already got food poisoning
