Called CT Wine and Liquor to inquire about a particular bottle of bourbon I was looking for. The guy on the phone said they had a couple bottles in stock; I let him know I’d be there in a few to pick one up. Got there, didn’t see one on the shelf and asked an employee (Nell’s) if they had anymore in the back.  Nell’s then proceeded to ask me (and not in the most customer service friendly way) if I shopped there a lot because the bourbon I wanted was suppose to be for their “best customers”. I told him I’d been to CT a few times; in fact I purchased the same bottle of bourbon a few months ago as the one I wanted to buy today but without all the questions.  He kept integrating me with a horrible attitude like he didn’t want to sell this bottle of bourbon to me. He reluctantly went in the back, got the bourbon and told me to meet him at the cash register. He pulls up my account then belittles in front of other customers because I only had X amount of loyalty points. He then tells me he is going to be “a nice guy today” and sell me the bottle. Then asked/told me I need to shop there for all my liquor because he was nice enough to sell me a 65 dollar bottle of bourbon. Horrible customer service and attitude; if some liquor or wine is set aside for special customers he just have just told me and that would be the end of it. But he had to continue to berate and embarrass me in front of other customers. I will never shop there again; way too many other quality liquor stores in the area like Cheers or Veterans liquor.

Awesome place. Ask for Matt; he is the Belgian beer expert. I love their service. We live in Los Angeles and our son lives in Colorado Springs. We have now made it a tradition to buy a basket of premium Belgians every Xmas. Our 'kids' love it and look forward to it. I found them during a wild goose chase a year or so ago, and I must say the experience has  been premium year after year!! Thanks Guys.

This is probably one of the better liquor stores in the city. It has character and isn't "sterile" like the vast majority of other liquor stores in the Springs. Wonderful wine selection as well as local craft beer. Cheers to Coaltrain!

Absolutely great selection of beer and alcohol! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Exactly everything that you would want in a liquor store and then some.

A cute little gem near downtown Springs. They had a very nice selection of Bordeaux as well as dessert wines but the staff is what made it such an amazing experience. They did not hover over you but were very friendly if you had questions.
