I give 4 stars because their prices are much higher than a big grocery store in town.  There are sometimes things on sale or marked down that can be a good value, however.  The best thing about this store is the location.  It is right in the hub of downtown Coarsegold.  It is pretty good for last minute purchases in a pinch when you don't wanna drive far.  The employees are friendly at least in my experience.  I have shopped here about a dozen times over the past couple years.

The homemade cake, and pastries are fantastic. With a variety of home cooked ready made meals, its got everything one would need. With a feel of a hometown market, very clean and staff is friendly.

Oh and try the Asain noodles, their real good.

They have the very best fried chicken and I also loved their broccoli salad.  You can get most everything you need from this store without going up to the bigger chain stores, but you will pay higher prices.  Sometimes there are bargains to be found here.  They have a lot of liquor of every kind and big discounts from time to time on various bottles that are really good deals.  The employees are always pleasant and helpful; however, they seem to change every time I go in there.

Great meat and pre-made sandwiches very very good prices for a small Market they make dinners pre-made like enchiladas and ground beef with vegetables and gravy very very well prepared. Place has been known for many many years for its great meet and good prices
