The facility was great, my dog is intact so she was in her own area, but they let other females come and play with her occasionally so I know she wasn't lonely. She's a bit rambunctious, she plays with our other dog and they can get crazy so I'm glad she did well and that they let her play with other dogs. Hopefully she wasn't to much of a handful. Unfortunately I was quoted a different price on grooming and had to pay more than I was told when I came to pick up my dog. I was told the grooming fee was $60 over the phone, they knew she was a standard golden-doodle since I gave them all the information before dropping her off so I figured that the $60 was the fee for large breeds but it turned out to be $80. I know it's only $20 more but I probably wouldn't have gotten her groomed if I knew it was that much, I thought $60 was pushing it since she only needed to get her hair trimmed and evened out from the awful haircut I gave her, so to me I don't think it was worth it at least until her hair grew out a bit longer, but that's just me (It's a fair price, don't get me wrong). I was told that they recently raised the prices so the person I was talking to may have given me the old price on accident. She does look fantastic though! They did a really good job! The prices are very reasonable overall, so I didn't mind paying the extra bit, but it was a little frustrating having to pay more than expected. Accidents happen and this was just a case of miscommunication. I also tried to email them about how my dog was doing since I was out of the country and my phone service didn't work and I never got a response. I know emailing isn't a good way to contact them but they've corresponded via email with me before the trip so I was hoping they would have gotten back to me. I would have liked to receive any form of update to know how she was doing since it was the first time I've boarded her, it would have eased the nerves a little. Plus I didn't know about the webcam (which is awesome) until I got home, but that was my bad for not looking. Overall, it was a good place, the staff was nice, the only problems I had were lack of communication and being told the wrong price, but it seemed like an honest mistake. Only suggestion based off my experience is to keep in touch with the occasional update!

I went into this situation with the idea that customers who are nice are more likely to be treated better, that the employees would be more apt to go out of their way to be able to help them. I bought a five day pass for my dog. I haven't finished out the days. On a Wednesday I took my dog in from 8am to 5pm for the daycare. Thursday evening she began having this horrifying deep, dry heaving that was happening constantly. I ran her to the vet and he told me that my dog caught kennel cough and asked if she had been at daycare or boarded within the past few days. He stated she undoubtedly got it from there. I do not blame Coddled Critters for this at all. I realize that dogs get sick. It happens. They are unable to control that; however, the way it was handled afterwards is what left me a little upset. Due to being a full time graduate student while also working 40+ hours a day I have a crazy schedule and am low on money. The vet bill was $250 dollars so I wanted a refund. I sent them an email because I did not have my phone on me Friday until late and I did not receive a reply, so I left them a voicemail later that night. The voicemail was extremely nice like I stated above I didn't blame them, I just wanted my money back because I need to pay off the bill and don't want to risk my dog getting sick again. 3 hours go by of them opening Sat and I don't get a call back (even from an employee just to say hey our manager isn't here but will call you Monday or something) so I decided to go in in person, as I need the money. (I also expect someone that has my money to be more prompt with returning messages) I walk in to two women sitting at the desk. I explain the situation to one of them and she tells me she will have the manager get me a refund. She explains she will not refund me for the day my dog got sick, just the days I haven't used, and that honestly was a bummer to me. It's only $20 to the business, but that's a lot for me to help pay off the vet bill, and would be good customer service. As I'm talking with this gal, the other woman on the other side of the desk chimes in, "Oh yeah, you called us more than once, you called us multiple times" so rudely. I honestly was taken aback. Even if that had been me, she should have not come at me with such attitude. Clearly they have another customer that wants information and is not getting answers. I could feel that the employee was ready to attack me and be rude, but I immediately politely corrected her and said, "Actually, as I said, I called once and left a voicemail." To which she backed down and mumbled she must've been thinking about someone else. That mere few seconds immediately in itself turned me off from the facility. If an employee was willing to be that rude to my face, when I was being very nice especially considering the situation, I would not want to leave my dog alone with them. The employee informed me the manager will be calling me Monday when my money is refunded. I'm at least grateful I will be getting those few days back, even though I think I should get the day back that she got sick as well. Depending on how the manager speaks with me when called will determine how I will share my experience with my multiple friends that take their dogs to this establishment as well. *Update: the manager never called me when the employee told me they would and I never got my refund. I would not recommend this place in the slightest and will be letting my friends know about my experience. ** and now the owner replies on here and doesn't have the decency to call me? I was told by the employee I would get a refund and you're not going to follow through? What poor business. Telling everyone about this crappy business

Excellent grooming service. Angel has always done a great job with my Goldendoodle. They also have a big space for dogs to play. Highly recommended!

We love this place, we do daycare often with our dog, Beorn, and have boarded with them twice for about a week each time. They are friendly and always so sweet to our pup. In fact one of their groomers found our dog was starting to get an ear infection and personally came out to tell us her concern when we went to pick him up. We highly recommend this place.

This place is amazing. My dog is a regular and ALL the employees are amazing. When we walk in they know who we are, most importantly they great my dog with a positive excited attitude. I know all day she is well taken care of which give me peace of mind. They give "report cards" to use almost everyday with a hand written note of what my pup did all day. I couldn't image my dog without this place, it has changed her behavior and manor towards other dogs for the best. All staff is trained and I never have to worry. Thank you coddled critters for caring for my dog as much as I do. Also the place is huge and temperature controlled, and it's very nice. If my dog isn't feeling good they always let me know and have helpful hints for me to care for her.
