My daughter and i eat here regularly.  My favorite lunch is the fried mullet. Its always fresh and hot but come before noon because they sometimes run out. You can have bbq beans with it that are to die for. Other wonderful eats include their hamburgers, onion rings, club sandwiches, and chicken salad.  Haven't tried breakfast yet but I'm sure it is great as well.

One of the best eating joints. When I asked the maid service at our hotel where was a good place to eat she quickly recommended Coffee Cup. Glad she did. It was fantastic. My whole family loved it.

Great food. Great service. Not sure of considered historic, but definitely nostalgic. If you want a "real" breakfast, this is the place to go.

First and last time at this place. The first thing I noticed was how filthy and unkept it was. The ceiling had dust hanging in clumps. The cooler had mold around the doors,the floors and cabinets were horrible. What really bothered me most was the cooking area and the cook. They had pork sitting out unrefrigerated, all of the food was uncovered. The cook wasn't wearing gloves and touching raw meat and then other surfaces. They most definitely need a visit from the health department and soon! The only good thing I can say about this place is the coffee. I wish I could give less than 1 star!

Why so many 3 star reviews from people who had bad experiences? A restaurant should provide 1) good food 2) good service 3) ambiance. This place has none of those. And you'll likely wait on a hard wooden pew to realize that for yourself. Nostalgia is no excuse.
