My boyfriend and I have come here so many times before, and sometimes we had to wait to be greeted, but we were okay with that because we could tell that the servers were busy. We expected that today, but we didn't expect to be ignored when we decided to go this morning. We went in and sat down, like usual, but this time, we were never greeted. There was about the same amount of people in the restaurant as there usually is when we go, and the same amount of servers for the restaurant. There was a cashier this time too. We sat there for over five minutes, then my boyfriend went to grab a menu, thinking that it would remind them that we were there. It did not. Instead, I watched one of the servers grab a bite of a granola bar, put it back down, without washing her hands, and go directly to a table to get the tip money and back behind the bar. We left shortly after, and none of the servers even acknowledged it. We are now at Cagney's, and the service has been great so far. We will not be back to Coffee House for a while, if at all, that's for sure.

The atmosphere was that of a greasy little diner. There was one cook and one waitress. There were a few call in orders that seemed to take precedence over those of the guests sitting in house. We waited almost an hour to receive our food. I believe the cook was only making one thing at a time. The food was quite bland. I really was not impressed with this place at all.

This is exactly what a country diner is supposed to be. The service was not terribly slow and the food did not come out cold. Some people expect to much from a diner. They were friendly and the food was amazing and filling. If you want affordable country breakfast this is a great spot...... ask them about the Garbage plate. It was amazing.

The food is good without being fancy or gourmet but it was a little dirty and the waitress actually made us wait almost 20 minutes while she counted the cash register. She seemed lost. They need a better system for shift change.
