Coffeebar - Redwood City
"Coffeebar is the fuel that propels you throughout your day. Inspired by the Italian coffeebar culture, we believe we are Hospitalians first, baristas and chefs second. Making people feel good is our M.O. Founded in Truckee, CA in 2010, Coffeebar was built off of over two decades of coffee industry knowledge. But at the end of the day, we're only as good as the next cup we make."

Overall a cool little spot in downtown Redwood City with some great options for cafe food and good artesian type coffee bar options. I'm a fan of the decaf Lavender Latte with almond milk. There is usually space either indoors or outdoors and there is free WiFi. What drops this down is the service, not sure what it is but the workers are just not "nice". They always seem to be moody and rarely do I get one that is happy and kind. I've been here a lot and not sure they ever say hello, have a smile on their face when you say thank you or even respond with you're welcome. They are just silent except when they call your name to pick up your drink and feel like they want to get you out of their way. From the cash register to the actual barrista not friendly at all, not mean, not anything just blah. Great place overall, better than Starbucks obviously, but def not as friendly.
Modern cafe with good food choices and well made coffee drinks. We had the avocado toast, caprese panini and parma panini. All were very flavorful. The panini bread was very crusty, dark bread. It was challenging to find a table for four but one opened up eventually. Lots of people working on laptops. The music is good and kept at a level which allows for conversation. The staff was very friendly.
Very unique interior. The street access is closed to vehicles so park on other street and walk to Broadway. At first, we missed it because the shop name is only printed at the glass door. Service is good. Our latte is good, the avocado toast is yummy and the savory scone is very unique. It is considered soft. The skull on the wall is very unique. I noticed you can bring your cup. The restroom is also clean and the door lock is unique. I even took of it.
Nice big bright space with good seating options. I got the cold brew and it was good! Just a bit overpriced. All drinks come in compostable hot and cold cups and straws which is nice
Great coffee and great food. Love the area it's in as well. There is indoor and outdoor seating. They also have pasta stir sticks so A+ for sustainability!Food: 5/5
Really cute cafe with delicious coffee. I got a vanilla latte with oat milk during this visit.Food: 5/5
Extremely overpriced: the food quality is very poor; they staff with no customer service skills touch food and coffee grinds when they make coffee with their bare hands/no gloves on which was shocking to witness. Tables are always dirty and occupied with people who do not eat or drink but use their laptops, so you cannot sit down and have a meal.
Definitely an interesting little shop / unique and more importantly it’s not a Starbucks. Coffee is good and well made. Some interesting drinks choices - the Ube latte is fantastic. Food is good. However, my biggest thing is that the place is a bit overpriced - a breakfast Brito was $13… it’s just not that good
Maybe I picked the wrong drink for my first visit. Ordered chai latte which is usually my favorite drink but it was really disappointing. It tasted very very light and felt like drinking hot water! So sad. I was really excited to come visit this place after a while but turned out it wasn't my favorite…..
If you want to try one of the best lattes - this is the place. The latte was so foamy, aromatic and rich. I asked them to sprinkle some cardomom and that just enhanced the coffee flavor for me. I have tried the latte in other locations of coffeebar as well, this location is the best so far.Food: 5/5
