These two ladies on the right keep looking busy and ignoring me. I was the only one there. The gentleman finally asked if I'd been helped. He was very attentive of helping me. I don't know what's up with those other two, but they seem cold and rude.
So unfortunate to be posting this review since customer service seemed to be satisfactory. As I was eating, I realized there were dust/ possible cobwebs on my waffle cone. Upon further inspection, saw a spider on the fruity pebble of the chocolate waffle cone, please see picture below. The waffle cones have most likely been sitting on the counter for a long while and have harbored guests. I hope to not be sick after eating some of the ice cream : No more Cold Stone for me.
Under staffed and getting ice cream at this particular location means if your kids won’t choices like sprinkles or gummy bears, they have to get the medium size not the small, because this cold stone requires your child be a pre-diabetic to enjoy there choice of toppings on there ice cream.
This has to be the worst cold stone branch I’ve ever visited I’ve tried not make negative reviews but this time I had to every time I’ve come here something is wrong the time before this the cones were stale and they were still selling them this time the texture or taste of the sweet cream base was wrong as well the ice cream has icicle in it As if it was sitting in someone’s garage freezer for weeks honestly I’m upset because this not the standard I’m accustomed to from cold stone

Bella was the sweetest person ever, she helped me pick what ice cream flavors were good and it turned out to be amazing, she made my day by asking how I am and how my day was going. Very kind and sweet person.
I drove 30 minutes for this location because it was the only one that had a small-sized chocolate cake that I wanted. I needed to buy two cakes and I ended up buying some ice cream for myself as well. It was for a party the following day so I dropped over $60 in merchandise to accommodate my party. The second cake, which was strawberry, had cracks all over the top of it and it was the only one left. After I asked for a discount for the damaged item, they just looked at me and said they won't do anything. Then the manager came out and said the same thing. I walked away feeling upset and under-served about the situation. The ice cream cake tasted mediocre, but I mostly don't recommend going here because the customer service is lacking. You would think relatively speaking customers drop on average about $5 there per visit per person. The fact that they made over 1,000% off me you would think they would have accommodated me a little bit more eagerly.
I love cold stone. It's my favorite! I've had it all over the country. This was my least favorite location, because it it's so small that you have to take it to go. And I've never been to a cold stone until now where the employees didn't seem like they enjoyed their jobs. The product is the same though, so it's still good!
My mom and I went today and I must say, I love their ice cream! We frequent the Grossmont location frequently and we are NEVER disappointed. Great service too! I believe we'll be customers for the rest of our days!
We ordered a small cone for our son. The guy who took care of us was not happy at all. We asked for a simple chocolate and vanilla mix and we wanted some sprinkles he told us they could not mix the ice cream because of the size, we wanted sprinkles on the ice cream, he hands us the ice cream with out sprinkles and when I told him, hey can you please put sprinkles on the cone he seemed really annoyed. Disappointing to try and have a nice time getting ice cream for our son and feeling like we were a bother, it was not close to closing time either, middle of a Sunday afternoon.
