Delicious ice cream, it is super creamy and friendly staff! I got Cotton candy with gummy bears in it.
When you first walk into Cold Stone the sugary aroma hits you instantly and you know you're in for a treat. I enjoy the tremendous variety of flavors - this location even carries gooey butter cake ice cream, a STL tradition. It's really good. I often fantasize about buying an Everybody's tub of gooey butter ice cream, making a sheet of gooey butter cake, and buying an STL style pizza and calling it a party.
The ice cream is fantastic! I really liked the almond milk chocolate. You need to offer a whole line of almond milk ice cream. The employees were very pleasant and helpful. I would suggest that you open more stores here and go international through franchising. Family prices where the whole family eats for a special price when children are part of the family would be a very good addition.
I picked up an online order for Everybody's size Oreo Overload. The container was not full. I have ordered this at multiple locations and the containers were always full. First time I have been to this location.
My husband and I went to Cold Stone after going to the movies across the plaza, for a specific seasonal item that I had been very excited to try. There were two young employees working, and a manager. The two young employees were very pleasant, but the manager’s behavior was abhorrent. She was shouting down the young man in front of the long line of customers. “Oh, you’re working? Is that what you’re doing? Is this what working looks like?”. The young man did appear to be busy the entire time I was in the store. It was very unprofessional of her to berate the employee in front of the long line of customers. Even if she was “just playing”, it turned my husband and I off immensely. In a world where “nobody wants to work”, this is not the way to keep employees. Additionally, the manager’s appearance was revolting to the point where if I didn’t really want the specific item badly, I would have walked out. She had long hair that was pulled back into a ponytail, but was visibly dirty and greasy, that she kept touching. She was not wearing gloves. She had very long artificial fingernails. I saw her run her nails under one another numerous times as though to be grooming them. If she were going to be waiting on me, I would have asked for another employee. Finally, I ordered the biggest carry-out container I could of ice cream. The employee did not fill it all the way; there was an inch of space left at the top of the container. I noticed that the ice cream freezer of my selected flavor was almost empty but had a couple scoops left. I cannot help but think that because it was close to closing time, the employee did not want to open up a new container from the back. I paid $15 for what was probably $12 worth of ice cream.
Lots of interesting flavors of ice cream and lots of sprinkles mixes and toppings to be added for your culinary frozen fun.
These HORRENDOUS people wouldn't let us in!! They were laughing at us because we couldn't open the door. DON'T RECOMMED!! This is a joke btw, all love to the employees
We stopped in yesterday after wanting to try the Coffee Lovers for a while. So I knew what I wanted from the start. The Coffee Lovers Only has coffee ice cream, with caramel, almonds, and Heath pieces. It was delicious!! Jason ordered a strawberry blonde; strawberry ice cream with caramel, strawberries, whip cream, & graham crackers. The sizes are cute: like it, love it, and gotta have it. The girl helping us was really nice and helpful. She told us about the Aquaman promotion when I tasted the blue velvet cake! Will be back! Yum!
Please teach your employee how to make a shake. It is unacceptable that I watched her making a shake 3 times and she couldn’t even fill up the entire cup. In addition, it feels like a left over shake. Unacceptable
Tell me how it takes an hour to serve 12 people. 5-6 workers but everyone's zombies. Granted they had online orders but someone was helped every five minutes. And I mean someone not a group. 3 workers making icecream for in store customers but taking their sweet time walking around in between. And I promise you not to restock. 2 stars for Cold Stone and their flavors.
