So I put in an online order. They accepted the order and it stated my quart was being prepared. My bf goes to pick it up and they closed the store and kept trying to act like they didn’t see him at the door after knocking multiple times. I even tried calling 5x. They weren’t even supposed to be closed yet. At this point I want my money back. Y’all should be ashamed of yourselves. You don’t treat customers like that. At least have some decency to acknowledge him or say we’ll issue a refund. Worst customer service!
Absolutely a waste of time and money. Walked in for an online pick up. No one greeted me. One girl was on the phone for an issue with a terminal. The other 2 girls only helped people in line. Finally the girl gets off the phone and with no greeting or apology for the wait at least 5 min to be acknowledged, not even a nod in my direction while on the phone she asks the name. I tell her. It's not ready shocker and she makes it. Shoves the bag at me, I leave. I really just wanted tk get home. Check it in the car, imagine my lack of shock to find its wrong. There's been 1 piece of cookie dough and I'm halfway done. And no gummy bears that I paid extra for. At that point, based on the complete lack of service my first time in the store, I did not go back to complain it was wrong since I could tell by their attitudes no one would care. Will not be returning. Beyond disappointing. I'll just go to Dairy Queen or Culver's in the future.
Wake forest has a lot of options for ice cream and while each place has its appeal cold stone is the go-to for when you need a guaranteed taste win no matter what you choose. Freshly made waffle cones , ice cream cakes, and I'd argue the best strawberry in the area. Easy parking just around the side of Publix and seating inside if you can't wait to dig in. I keep going. I have a problem.
I ordered a Gotta have it Chocolate Devotion to be delivered. Description says nothing about nuts being it. There were nuts infused through the whole thing. 3-4 even 10 I can understand from things dropping into your ice cream. But the whole thing? I had a really bad reaction to it. I’m not talking hives; I’m talking tongue swelling, blisters, can’t swallow easily, and I had a hard time breathing. No one at the store would answer the phone and Corporation basically said you should have told us you had an allergy. I wasted all that money on something that tried to kill me and it was my fault. No thanks! I will not return to any Cold Stone Creamery.
I visited the location on 7/29. The employees do not wear gloves. One girl literally took her gloves off before starting to make food. I’ve been to cold stone in garner and everyone had gloves on. I don’t recommend eating here as it’s full of teenagers working and no manager monitoring basic health guidelines. 5 employees working and the line was ridiculous long due to them being obnoxious with each other. I recommend for health and safety to take the extra drive into the city.
The lady that fixed our order was pretty much working alone. The review should not reflect on her,she was awesome. Noah the cashier customer service was atrocious. He was callous and rude and to be honest did not seem to care much for black people. He ignored every question that I asked him and rang us up and walked off. I sincerely hope he finds a new job. This obviously is not where he needs to be
Great staff - the dude working the day shift on Jan 28 was absolutely great Working the counter all by himself and acknowledging everyone who walked in. The bad part- whoever owns this Cold-stone needs to hire more people and work out schedules that does not burden the staff.
Update: We decided to come back after grabbing lunch. The girl working was very fast, efficient and polite. Thankfully they’re back to doing samples because not doing them because of “covid” didn’t make sense.. My kids thought they wanted the lucky charms ice cream but after trying a sample they didn’t, so that saved us money. Please update your hours. It’s really not fun getting my two children out of the car just to come to the locked door because your hours online are an hour off from what they actually are.
I went to the store last week end, me and my husband ordered the same size ice cream cone, the lady who fixed my ice cream put so tiny amount of ice cream while my husband had his cone full half way as we ordered medium size. I asked to have some more but she added only a tiny bit. I don't think I will go to this location again. It was a waste of money.
Great atmosphere. Ice cream was excellent. Be advised, if you have allergies to milk, almonds etc., lookup what kind of icecream you can have. Dont walk un there and spend 30 minutes disrupting everything as this one lady did while i was there.
