Nice beach, attentive life guards, nice showers and changing facilities for those not going back to a hotel locally.
Nice to see various dogs with owners and everybody enjoying them. 
Good varied crowd of ages and ethnicity etc. 
Only one group with music, others seemed to respect other people's enjoyment of the beach.

Stopped over on my drive down to Fl.  Very clean,  tons of security cameras,  can use community bikes for free,  sand is compacted and feels almost cementlike until you get near the water,  very well maintained, the best facilities I've seen in all of my travels.  Has clean restrooms, changing room with rinse stations.  Has outdoor rocking and swing chairs so you can watch the sunset.  Parking is free but is a 5min walk to the beach park.  There was live music from one of the hotels on the beach.  Definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area or driving down south.

Love Coligny! Great people watching during season, quiet in off season. Hurricane Irma just came through, beach  still looks wonderful. If you come soon you may just see the 13,000 pound buoy that washed ashore from Port Royal (not the plantation). Seems like everyone is trying to get a picture with it!

Great beach spot. Lots of space to enjoy your time there. Good for bike riding or just relaxing. I would highly recommend this spot. Close little shops and restaurants.

This place is great except the annoying biting flies. Not sure if its this time of the year (end of September). Really really annoying. They bite you even when you are biking. My son got stung by jellyfish. No big deal. It got better after  we applied some white venigar. Did I said the super annoying flies already? I would give 4 or even 5 stars if there is no annoying flies.
