Jon Yvon, "Senior Franchise Manager," came to my house three weeks ago and gave me an estimate, which I accepted. He returned this week to start the work, but he had to wait for his painting crew to arrive. In the interim, we walked around the house reviewing the work we agreed to do, He then had me sign a College Pro Painters contract, which he then co-signed, and asked for a 10% payment up front and I wrote out a check. Since his crew had not yet arrived, I left to go to the grocery store. Upon my return 30 minutes later, the crew had arrived but were standing around their car. Mr. Yvon approached me saying, "I underestimated your bid and we have to renegotiate." Understand that Mr. Yvon has been doing this business for four years! Without arguing, I told him to return my check and leave my property. This is a classic example of "bait and switch." I suspect the crew leader told him this was Wellesley and he should raise his price accordingly. I reported the incident to the national office, but got no response from the regional manager. Even though I had a signed contract, I certainly wouldn't trust these men to do the job properly. PS. I doubt these are college students doing the work.

This Company took advantage of my son for 2 weeks to do a job and NEVER PAID HIM? very unprofessional!!!!
