The first time i heard of colter was by a refferal so I did not bother to read the google reviews. Once I left his office to write one myself I was not surprised to see nothing but the lowest of ratings. This guy not only changed the price on me but asked me how would I do the payment plan. After telling him how I preferred he told me how we wanted it to work. Though I was willing to work it out his way he didn't give me a chance to speak to agree. He constantly interrupted me, and called me "not smart enough to understand all my legal options" while I was putting away my paper work to leave his office this guy kicks me out And tells me that I need him and that he doesn't need me. I found another attorney that charged more but I have no problem paying more for better service. Ive never been kicked out of a business but from this experience I think that was the best thing that could of happened.

I only give one star bc his paralegal was an angel but as far as Colter goes,he was the meanest,crook that I've ever met. He promised me that i had a great case but after i paid his retainer of 5 grand my situation was all of the sudden grim and if i wanted the outcome that i deserved then it would cost another 10 grand to take it to court. 
Call someone else. Stay away from this attorney.

UPDATE!!!

Just after posting my review (which did not mention the harassment, yelling  and disrespect, from Tom Colter, on many occasions)
I was sent two emails from Tom Colter, he has threatened me, demanding me to delete my review of his services. 
This is just further proof of his poor ethics. I felt my review was more than fair considering I left a lot of information out in regards to how I was treated by Colter.

Please do not entrust this man to handle your affairs as these decisions are going to affect your lives and can possibly be damaging to you and your family's life as so in my case.
