A new Oregon resident, I went to Columbia Bank in Stayton to open accounts because I don't care for "big banks." Regrettably, this one ended up treating me like a number and classifying me in a category that their computer generated based on my credit with a lower score due to maxed out accounts because of my move!, making me feel uncomfortable. My score wasn't supposed to be printed on the document the clerk handed me to look at, he said. But it was. I didn't like my personal information being made available to a wet-around-the-ears kid I'll never see again. I regret going in and meeting with the banker. It wasn't a pleasant experience. As soon as I left, I got into my car, pulled out my phone and looked up online applications for banks in the area. I found the credit union takes online applications. There were no awkward moments. It was quick and easy, and their "demands" for documentation are much less rigorous. I got the accounts I requested and will do all my personal and business banking there. I recommend against opening an account at Columbia Bank, just because of what you'll go through - a credit check disguised as an address research tool. B.S.
Courteous and attentive helpers for a deposit and set up an appointment regarding my online access. Jacob was helpful in getting through the setup process. We've been banking with them for over ten years.
The best bank there is. Mike is very helpful and knowledgeable and friendly. The same goes for the rest of the staff. I have been a customer there for 11 yrs. They have been understanding through many banking problems and mistakes.
Wow, thank the gods I never have to deal with this company again. 22 years with Pacific Continental Bank, Tami was the worst assistant manager I have ever delt with. She chose to make decisions base on her personal feelings and had to eat crow once she took the time do her homework. If I could leave no stars I would.
I don't prefer banks, I use a credit union.. but they have great customer service here and answered my questions.
I’ve been with them since they opened this branch. Great people!
