Columbia City Bakery opened in 2005 under the inspiration and direction of Evan Andres.
The unique flavors and texture of our breads come from the use of natural starters, minimal commercial yeast, and a long, slow fermentation process. The dough is mixed in small batches and overseen by skilled bakers who love what they do.
Our bread is now served in some of Seattle's finest restaurants and we are proud that the bakery has become a busy, local gathering spot.
