Columbia County Cares is a food pantry. We are here to help our community.
Columbia County Cares , Inc., referred to as the Food Pantry, is an ecumenical non-profit organization that provides temporary relief to the unemployed, the elderly on fixed income and single parents. No one with a legitimate need is refused help.
How can you help ?

- Donate needed food and hygiene items.
Where we are going... From a start of about 50 families a month, growth has been steady and we now serve over 400 families each month. These Numbers are the result of our country's economic situation, the growing population of Columbia County and because more families in need know who and where we are. According to estimates, there are approximately 6,000 people in Columbia County living belo poverty level and we are serving only a portion of them.
Each family is given an amount of food that will last for one week. They are allowed to return for more after one month has passed.
We will continue to grow as more families learn of our presence. We never charge for what we give, however, sometimes a client will give back by volunteering his or her services to care for others.
So our mission here at Columbia County Cares is to help those in need.
"Truly i tell you, whatever you did for the one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."
Matthew 25:40
