This library has a decent selection of books, and Great selection of movies for it's size. It's not as big as the City, Elizabethtown, M-S (Mt Joy), or newer branches. The staff here are very helpful, and they do get busy, so you may have to wait for assistance at times. It's well worth it though. I have never been disappointed. I also love the inter-library loan system, it makes all the difference if you can't make the trip yourself to get a book Columbia doesn't have!

My grandmother and I come to the public library almost every week.  She reads alot!  I know if they don't have a book,  they will order it from another library and have it shipped there.  They are pretty quick about it.  I also noticed  they have a  vast amount of DVD movies.  They also have computers there.  So,  this library is fully loaded with your needs.
