We had queso and chips, chicken wings and chicken tender and fries. I already knew going in it would be a little overpriced, it was. 6 wings $13, they were not bad but not worth $13. Tender to me are small and kinda dry but I liked the fries. The Buffalo garlic parm was very good as was the ranch and blue cheese. The beer is top notch.
It was a Monday and thought we'd check out the new market on the east side. The door to the market was locked. Saw people down at Columbus Brewery so we walked their way. See folks eating so we entered. None of us drink. I don't like going to breweries. This place has a full menu that's far from that"bar food" so we stayed to try it out. We all loved this place. Total shocker! Husband really enjoyed the burger and steak friesthey were crispy and tasty. Friend enjoyed the soba noodles. I enjoyed the sweet potato tacos. The atmosphere, space, and architecture was great. People sitting by us ordered a pizza and it looked really good! Will definitely go back and try that pizza another visit!
Great build out of the space. Decent beer and service. The food, not so much. Unless you like salt, lots and lots and lots of salt on everything. It is as if it is the only seasoning the kitchen has. Maybe the best thing to do is grab some excellent food from an East market vendor and have a beer here... Went back again for a dinner meeting. My wife and I were both vomiting in the bathroom a few hours later from the food. Two strikes and you're out. It is a shame, it would be a great location for a good restaurant...
Yesterday, was my first time visiting the Columbus Brewing Company. Some coworkers and I visited the CBC for a few celebratory occasions. The place is massive and modernly decorated. The drinks and brews were deliciously innovative and flavorful. We had a few malts and cocktails from their drink menu. Savory appetizers. We had their cheese sticks and their chicken wings. Excellent and stellar service from all the staff. Nice crowd. They have gigantic brewing devices that are visible to customers and the machineries are separated by glass. Nice big outdoor patio with a modern fire pit. Parking available out front and or free street parking also available. Decent prices.
We were happy with our experience at the new location. The atmosphere was lively, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They had a great overall selection of beer and we were pleasantly surprised with the food menu as well. Would definitely recommend.
Had a great dinner. Ate inside but beautiful packed patio. Server was incredible - efficient, knowledgeable and oh so personable. My Diet Coke was never empty. Fries with aoli great - not a Mayo person but server said she wasn’t either but loved. She was right. Traditional wings - maple bourbon - sweet but delish.Recommended dishes
Grab a beer but don’t eat here. Middle school lunch food at best. Pizza was awful. Poutine fries had gravy that looked like chocolate pudding. Hamburgers where just a small slider. No way worth the price. Mixed drinks were inconsistent between orders. Same drink order. Very different result. So bad. While waiting for food, the largest centipede bug attacked our booth. We all had to get up. The only saving grace was a full slice of pizza under the neighboring booth’s table that the bug found appealing. My family was laughing out loud at how bad the food was. It will forever be a running joke in my family. We will never go back. All other food options in Columbus would be better. For the price this place is should be ashamed of themselves. I wanted to love this place. Instead, I feel robbed by a bad joke. Sorry CBC, not even close to being acceptable.
Service was very slow when I was the only person at a table of five. Took a good 10 minutes before someone asked me for a drink order. After that service seemed to pick up and was a lot better so not sure what that was about. Food was okay, I got a "cuban" sandwich and it tasted okay but the bread was just a sub bun so that was a disappointment .
My husband and I stopped in because we love CBC brews. We were blown away by our experience. From the host who seated us and pointed out the restrooms because “Folks always think they are behind there but they are over there. Just helps out everyone,” to our server, Amy S., to the food runners who brought out farm-to-table offerings, it was an extraordinary experience. We both felt comfortable, welcomed and a part of the family. Amy was helpful with menu choices and just a delight for our somewhat off-beat senses of humor. The food was outstanding — truly. We had Belgium frites to share, my husband had a pizza and I had the avocado-Egg salad toast that was so good I wanted to lick the plate. There was literally nothing on the menu we do not want to go back and try. We have been searching for a place that we can call ours and we think we found it. We will be back … a lot.
This was our second time having drinks here. The service was outstanding . Kyra was our bartender. She took care of our drinks and had a great personality. Plus, it was fun talking music with her. All the beers were excellent. We are definitely coming back soon!Service: 5/5
