We are a family run agency providing financial and insurance services to individuals and businesses in our community. We treat your family like our own.

Story

The Combs Agency is a third-generation family owned insurance services agency. The company was founded by Dick Combs and has been in operation since 1959. Dick was joined by his son Rick Combs in 1978, and grandson Chris Combs in 1994. The agency provides services to small businesses, families, and seniors including financial and retirement planning, auto, home, commercial-business, and life insurance, as well as long-term care and disability insurance. We tailor custom risk transfer strategies for each of our clients. In addition to Rick and Chris, the staff includes two additional licensed agents, Vicki Buening, office manager for the past 18 years, and Lorraine Vojt who is the customer service contact and underwriting expert.

I have been with the Combs Insurance Agency for 46 years. Dick Combs brought us into the Combs family while I was in the Air Force. Dick and his wife came to our aid during the Xenia tornado by personally delivering the property damage check to us in Xenia. He didn't have to do that, but that was the way Dick did business. He believed in taking care of his clients as if they were family. After Dick passed away Chris seem to just take over and to this day treats us just like family. Rick and Chris together have held up the old family tradition of treating me and my wife as part of the family. They don't just take your money and are done, they stay in touch even it it just once a year to let you know that if you need them they are there to service their customers. I would recommend The Combs Agency over any other agency on any given day.

I have worked with Chris and his team for a number of years. Luckily I have not had many claims but when I have the response is quick and helpful. Would recommend him to anyone looking for a great small family owned company to work with on their insurance. -Dave-

I have know Chris and Rick for nearly 25 years now. From the time I started my family until now with kids nearing college, they have only recommended products that fit my needs today and look out for me in the future. Their adherence to serving me the customer conscious of my budget and goals has always superseded the putting me into products that might make them more commissions. You'll have the same feeling when you talk to them, I'm sure.

I highly recommend Combs Insurance. They are great to work with and are very honest people. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my auto insurance. Thanks.
