The room was a bit better than average, with comfortable beds, and included the now-standard mini-fridge and microwave. The breakfast was typical. The pool, which we had called in advance to double-check on, broke the day before we arrived. (The pool was also broken last visit, which is why we called to double-check.) The wireless wasn't working. The first floor vending machine ran out of stuff (which the other vending machines didn't have) on Friday night and was still out on Sunday morning. Sometime on Saturday all the room keys were canceled and needed to be reissued. I am giving them three stars rather than two solely upon the excellence of their staff. The desk clerk spotted us on the way in Saturday night and stopped us to issue us new keys. Several members of the staff were very patient about explaining to our eight-year-old that no, the pool wouldn't be fixed while we were there, and enough about the technical details to satisfy him (I don't know how much, having asserted that the pool wouldn't be fixed quickly and sent him to the staff for adult reinforcement.) Bottom line, this is a budget motel which does the basics well (yes, we needed new keys, but we weren't inconvenienced), but at which the extras that it supposedly has are unreliable. Again, excellent staff - if all you need is a room I do recommend them.

Upon arrival, there was no one at the front desk. After about 10 minutes of waiting, someone came in reeking of smoke and I found out that she was the front desk receptionist. The computer system must be out-dated or just extremely slow because I waited another 10 minutes trying to get checked in (mind you, I was in town solely for a wedding that I needed to get dressed and go straight to!). The room was not properly cleaned in what may have been months. There were spiders at the vanity area, in the bathroom and near the bed (I found one in my hair after sleeping in the bed!!). The room, even though it was non-smoking, smelled like smoke. The staff ran the hotel like it was their great-grandmothers run-down country home. At night I told the front desk person that there were some suspicious characters outside and she said "If it makes you feel any better, we've never had a problem here." I was also informed that there are no security cameras outside! What kind of hotel is this?! I was and still am thoroughly pissed off! Honestly, I want my money back or a free stay. I may as well have stayed at some no name roach motel.

The good...breakfast was very good with enough options for the price to make it excellent value. The beds were above average and cleanliness was good. The bad...the pool was not acceptable...cold and discolored. The internet was almost non-existent...even tho we were told there is usually never a problem!!! The water in shower was not hot enough for a shower. Overall...a good stay for cheaper price...but the extras being better would have made for more enjoyable stay.

Go there often. Nice stay, decent room and free breakfast. Wifi wasn't working this visit. Front desk didn't mention it at check in.

We really enjoyed staying here. The room was a nice size, clean, bright, comfortable and best of all the customer service was excellent. Luke at the front desk couldn't have been more helpful and professional. He really went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. Thank you!
