This place turned out to exceed my expectations. Very comfortable, quiet and immaculately clean, even the pool and hot tub. The woman who checked me in was so pleasant and kind that we struck up a very interesting conversation. Even the morning breakfast was the best I've had at a Comfort Inn yet -- standard fare, but warm and delicious with a good amount of choice. Well worth the price after a long drive across the state.

Nice motel.  Check in easy.  All needed amenities available--ice, iron, hair dryer.  Comfortable bed.  Very good breakfast.  I loved the fact that there are lots of outlets so I could recharge my phone and Kindle and plug in my CPAP machine without moving heavy furniture.  May be a little overpriced for the area.

The greeting made to our family the day of our stay left me with a sour taste, and honestly I wish we had left right then and there. Upon checking in, Abigail, the front desk specialist on site has very poor customer skills. She was more than rude, she has attitude problems and instead of being helpful and informational she was accusatory and unwilling to be kind. On top of being rude, she also was trying to charge even more money than our reservation information provided (we made this reservation 6 months in advance, paid for then, for a family reunion). After asking for the manager, Mary, who we spoke to the next day because she was not on site, I was even more less impressed with her ability to make things right. After explaining the situation she was unwilling to do anything. She said she "couldn't do anything." She is the freaking manager, she easily could have offered a discount price or free night. Mind you our family reunion was staying there and we were providing them with at least $3000 between all of us. Honestly, don't waste your time at Comfort Inn unless you want to feel frustrated and unhappy during your vacation stay. There are plenty of other options for you to choose from.

As soon as I got into my room I did what I always do on a trip, I turned on the TV and spread out on the bed to relax for a minute and watch the news. I couldn't hear the television so I attempted to turn it up a bit. The volume was preset at 30.  I could barely hear while sitting on the edge of the bed right in front of the television. When I approached the desk clerk about it she said her boss set it up that way out of consideration for other guests. When I pointrd out that I am a paying guests, her response was,  that's just the way it is. I understand there are people who have no consideration for others and turn the volume up too high. I'm not one of those people and I'm sure there are many other guests who are considerate of others.  This will be my final night at the Comfort Inn in Colville. In the future I'll go back to Benny's.

OK place, great staff. Not up to modern standards but functional. The lack of a fitness center is criminal.
