Waiting out the effects of hurricane Irma here. To be honest this wouldn't be my first choice hotel in any other situation but they had availabilities and are pet friendly. As it turns out while this hotel is "average" the staff have gone above and beyond and overall this stay has been great. The hotel is crowded because of the circumstances but the staff have been understanding and helpful. The general manager, Nick, helped me get my cat out from under the bed and packed up and in the middle of checkout and helped me into another room when i, at the very last minute, decided to extend my stay two more days. He had the new room cleaned for immidiate turnover so I could settle in right away. I haven't experienced any of the amenities though so I can't rate them. And there really isn't anywhere to eat or drink close by but within a 15 min drive there are several areas with plenty to choose from. This is my first time on Columbia and so far it's been decent. But really, special about out to Nick!

Great hidden gem on Bush River Road with great access to Downtown, West Columbia,and Lexington. Exceptional front desk staff evening and morning. Spacious, well-appointed room with comfortable desk chairs and equally comfy sleeping.....very quiet!

Amazing staff. My job put us up here and I enjoyed it. Got really sick from the room and I still don't know what it was but that won't stop me from returning. The pool was nice and it just felt as if family were with you. Close proximity to the highway and food. I'm so ready to take a vacation there again.

The hotel only has a main entrance that was pretty inconvenient.  The room was clean overall but could use major updating. The sinks are at the entrance door of the room which wasn't user friendly. I asked for an extra blanket and it was never brought to me. The bed was the most comfortable part of the room so I guess ultimately that's what really matters. Ok overall for the price.

The customer service deserve 4 starts from the Front desk, housekeeping and lobby personnel, the service was exceptional but the Hotel is dated, needs lots of TLC, they need to clean the pool more often and do something about the mold that is accumulating in some areas, I arrived on Saturday and left on Tuesday and the same trash that was around in the parking lot when I arrived, was there when I left. The Hotel isn't located in the prettiest neighborhood but at least is close to the highway and the museums. They provide breakfast.
