This lovely 59 Room Comfort Inn hotel is located at the crossroads of GA Hwy 121 and
GA Hwy 84. Located on Main Street in the heart of the historic downtown
area on the beautiful Woodpecker Trail. Paved sidewalks allow our guests easy access to our local shops, pharmacies, restaurants/taverns, and groceries.

Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy an abundance of offerings such as fishing, hunting,
boating and canoeing. Geocachers can spend the day searching for over 30 caches
hidden within our city limits. Heritage tourists will delight in our walking tour which
hightlights antebellum homes and other historic buildings such as the hanging jail,
Civil War POW camp and churches/cemetaries dating back over 100 years!

We are also within a short driving distance of the world renowned Okefenokee Swamp Park and 3 amazing golf courses.

Clean, quite and cozy and the staff are friendly and accommodating. If your in the area stay for the night or week for that matter. You won't regret it. True story.

Hurricane Irma brought us to this hotel. One room available because workers for the electric company where staying here...along with many many many many many animals that they took in with evacuees from Florida. Honest review....its a comfortable bed...thats about it. Expensive room for people needing help from a deadly hurricane. The one thing that I was so so so so disappointed in was the attitude of TONYA who worked the breakfast room. We were told upon arrival that breakfast is from 7-10:00...but failed to tell us that was the weekend hours not the weekday hours. We arrived at 9:10 for breakfast and Tonya said it closes at 9:00....she was rushing to remove all pastries, eggs, sausage etc out. Now you would think that this woman would realize that we are all suffering with what we are going thru....NOT...no emotion at all...continued to remove the food. I did speak to the house keeper and was told they were running out of food...nope I went into the kitchen and Tonya was rushing around piling it all up in the kitchen. Heartless....not returning. Not one thing to do in this town at all.

Stayed at the Comfort Inn in Blackshear. The facility was very nice and clean. The rooms were nice and the bed was comfortable.The Comfort Inn offers breakfast in the morning so that is mainly the reason we stay there. The staff is also very friendly.

It is an awesome place to stay and would definitely stay again. Very very clean, helpful, friendly staff. I was pleased with everything to include breakfast.
