I stay at a lot of Comfort Inns.  They are nothing fancy but it's usually all I need, which is a clean, quiet, safe place to sleep.  This visit was a little disappointing,  The front desk told me when I checked in at 3pm that my room was not ready yet, so they gave me another room on the top floor.  No problem.  Though once I settled into my room I noticed a number of dead and alive flies and ladybugs around the window and air conditioner, along with what appeared to be pizza toppings on the ground nearby...judging by the pizza order scribbled on the notepad by the previous guest.  I let it go as I had to leave for a wedding.

When I came back I could not get into my room.  Then one of the neighbours told me they were mistakenly given my room and had entered my suite while I was away and noticed my belongings...so they had to go back to the front desk to get another room (their third attempt at getting a room).  Luckily these other guests were nice and honest.

Hallway was a little noisy which happens I guess.  I woke up earlier than I wished to and made my way downstairs for breakfast.  Standard Choice Hotel fare...unfortunately nowhere to sit and eat my breakfast.  Though I will stay at other Choice Hotels again, I will not stay at this location.

I love to stay at Comfort Inn hotels. There are a great value and I can always expect clean, comfortable, and friendly environments. My husband and I booked stays at 6 Comfort Inn locations on our road trip through eastern Canada for our honeymoon. Stop One- Comfort Inn Port Hope, Ontario. I am so disappointed. The bathroom had hair all over the floor, there was mold growing on the shower head and water handle, and it looks like the room hasn't been vacuumed in a while.  The price we paid for what we got was astonishing. I will not return to this location. Let's hope the next one is more in line with the high quality I have come to expect of Comfort Inn.

Nice clean rooms. Free parking. Our room had a fridge which was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was what you would expect from a free hotel breakfast (not great) but I consider that a bonus so it doesn't take away from the main service that was the room

The receptionist was kind and knowledgeable.  The rooms were clean, spacious, and the shower water was hot.  Breakfast was expansive and well delivered.  Convenient to the major roads and easy to find.  The parking lot has good light, and is adjacent to a gas station.

The staff that greeted us was very friendly. The rooms, however, had a strange smell to them and had several beetles. It was hard to sleep as the beds are not very comfortable and the passing vehicles from the highway were loud. It worked for us in a pinch, but I wouldn't go out of my way to stay here again.
