Our home burned down so we requested this hotel as it was close to our house. Julie, second shift front desk clerk took the power that comes with her position very seriously. I wish management would have taken the needs of their guests equally as serious. The room amenities were minimal and condition of the current furniture was that of being purchased at Goodwill. Kathi, night manager appeared to get her orders from Julie. When there was an issue (or two) Julie was unable to communicate on any level that required conflict management skills so she woke Kathi up at home to communicate for her. Although Kathi decided Julie was inappropriate in her decision making I must give a HUGE thank you to Julie for making us feel completely vulnerable (in an already insecure moment for our family). Without the most uncomfortable encounter with any hotel staff ever, we would not have phoned our insurance company who upgraded us, for ten dollars less a night, to a competitors hotel where we are now having to live in a two bedroom suite with a full kitchen and many more amenities. I asked staff at this location how to file a complaint about an employee to which they replied, let me guess, Julie? Followed by, you don't have to tell us anything, we already know how rude to guests she is. Nonetheless, Ian, first shift desk clerk was knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful. Best Advice: Stay somewhere else but if you do stay here, do not bring any adversity to Julie's attention, just wait to speak with Ian.

Really nice place. Soft beds and quiet from the road. Only issue was I could hear everything going on next door.

Very nice..beds were like sleeping on clouds. Best thing was I put a pillow over my head and I couldn't hear my teenagers..they were almost sound proof lol

Everyone was very helpful and sweet! We stayed here before and will stay here again! LOVE the breakfast bar! Waffles are AWESOME!!!

The landscaping hasn't been maintained in a long time. It looks trashy from the outside.  The swimming pool was ice cold.  My son was nearly blue after swimming for 30 minutes.  Attendant at breakfast was rude. Her customer service skills need work. 

Our room was clean except the cushions on the pull out couch. One had toothpaste smeared all over it.  Another was torn.  

Not sure we will return although it is a convenient place or stay when we visit family.
