Left phone. 3 hrs down the road I realized it was not with me. Called the motel and told the desk clerk I believe I left my phone. He told me the cleaning crew found it and turned it in. He said he would mail it to me. I paid for the postage. They didn't charge a penny for there time and trouble. Got home 2 days later and my phone was waiting. Dollar for dollar, if you are visiting Montgomery or passing through, this is the place to stay. PS, the breakfast is excellent and free. Sweet.

Jay at the front desk was a sweetheart! My family and I arrived late at night after a long drive from Orlando with too young very tired children. Jay was so patient and courteous. He put us in a very comfortable room and was very speedy about getting a a cot up to our room for our teenager before we even made our way up. Everything seemed clean and tidy except for the top bedspread on our king size bed which looked like it had been used several times between washes. That's why I'm giving this review 4 stars instead of 5.

I only gave this hotel two stars because of the front desk clerk, at check-in (Miss. Mason), she was very friendly and had a great attitude. The rest of the staff seem to hate their jobs. The rooms smelled like smoke and mildew (claims to be a smoke-free hotel). The lock on my door was broken, not a huge issue because it was not the main lock. The pool area smelled like something had died and was left to rot. The trash can in the pool area was overflowing with trash and flies. I travel a lot due to my daughter playing travel softball and chose this hotel because it is part of Choice Hotels. I have never had an issue with any of their hotels, until this one. I do not recommend staying there to anyone.

Room was not as described when we booked it. Desk clerk did not know what to do and was instructed to speak to the manage in the morning. The manager said that he would only deal with am issue at check-in and said the clerk should have called him. Manager told me to contact the company about the error in the description. It stated the the handicap room has a walk in shower and that it only meant that the bathroom itself was big. The room was clean and the king bed was comfortable, but the sofa bed mattress was too thin and you could feel the bed frame. Trash all over the ground at the entrance near the dumpster.

I'm local I just wanted to get away. Everything was great, the room and lobby was really clean and smelled so good. I will definitely go back to visit.
