A very good mid range hotel located right next door to Dow Chemical business park. Rooms are large, comfortable, and the staff goes the extra mile when you ask something of them.
They even listen to suggestions. I have commented on earlier posts that the lights were dim in the rooms and that the pillows were way to small. I was pleased to see both issues have been addresse.

This is a great accommodation.  The manager Lewis Bean, has terrible customer service skills. We have a family emergency and have to leave a day early. When my wife went to check out at two PM she asked if it would be possible to get a refund for the extra day. He refused and said it was past 1pm that there would be no refund. What bothers me the most about this is that a 3 star rated hotel just down the road, the clarion, was able to give me a full refund after 3 hours of being there when my wife asked to move to another hotel. I worked in customer service for several years and know what can and can't be done in certain situations. I suggest Comfort Suits corporate have another manager oversee and assist Mr. Bean with a tune up on customer care and a little human compassion.  Absolutely disappointed.

Came for a wedding. There was a bit of construction going on in the lobby and an ownership change but we got a good rate and breakfast. Rooms had everything we could need.

Don't stay here. I booked the room the night before online. I then requested to check in at 6am. I got an email confirming this request and it suggested I call and confirm. So I called and spoke w Jessica. She said I could check in at 6am, and there were rooms available, and that she would leave a note. I arrived at 6am and a different lady was at the counter. She said I couldn't check in at that time and that no note was left. She then called the manager and said I could check in for an additional $50. I agreed so I could get in bed and work it out later. I went down later and met w the manager. He said he was investigating the matter and would get back w me. I went down the next day in the evening to check out and Jessica was there at the counter. They were still charging me the $50. I asked her to call the manager and she refused. I then asked her to check me out and give me a receipt and she refused. She said I couldn't check out until the next morning. I explained that I was leaving and not coming back. She still refused to check me out and give me a receipt. I left and called the manager the next day. He finally waived the $50 and emailed me my receipt, but denied that Jessica refused to do anything for me. I was staying there for work was working 12 hr shifts and sleeping there. I only wanted to rest while working in town but I had to deal with all of this hassle. I will never stay there again.

Great spot and served us well for the conference we were attending. The rooms were larger than we anticipated, clean, with everything working. Hotel staff were friendly and prompt with their assistance, and we never had to wait long. All in all, a great experience that was better than I thought it was going to be for a small town. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.
