The Community Health Centers of Burlington are comprehensive medical, dental and behavioral health centers in Burlington, VT. CHCB offers a complete range of services including: primary health care, dental, OB and prenatal care, mental health and substance abuse services, and on-site lab services.

Since they expand, it has become an obstacle course to access timely care. I was seen by a doctor for an urgent medical issue. The first doctor was a inappropriate and clueless. He wanted me to undress without a robe in front of him. (No) I called the next day and requested a different doctor. The new doctor was decent. He took my problem seriously ran blood tests and ordered an MRI. He said to come back when he had the results. When I called for a follow up appointment. I was told I couldn't see him because he wasn't taking new patients. Even after I asked them this was a follow up appointment, they refused to make one for me. I ended up talking to a nurse who sounded fresh out of nursing school. She told me several things I know were wrong. I asked for the doctor to call me. It took me a day to finally get another appointment with the him. He couldn't figure out my health problem. I asked for a referral to Boston, which he gave. The referral department took FOREVER -over two weeks to send my referral.They approved me for the wrong services. In summary. if you need healthcare, avoid this place.

This is ridiculous. I tried to set up an appt because I was feeling awful from my medicine so I called and they told me to come in. I finished doing a couple things, got ready to go, but since I have to walk there I figured I would call to make sure they were ready for me. Good thing I called...this was the convo with the new lady to answer. "We have no open appointments you would have to come tomorrow." I explained "I called early and the lady said I could come in. It is bs that I have to wait another day because I literally can't do that with my sickness." She said "my coworker meant come in asap, because it's first come first serve." I told the new nurse her coworker did NOT say that on the phone and that's garbage because that's something you should definitely tell people like I can't drive anywhere so I guess that means I need to figure something else out, and with no response she simply hungup. So much for "helping" people. And yes, I did use ONE cuss word, but it was not directed at her...simply at how the situation they put me in was absolutely pathetic. I will never recommend this place

I only go to the dental there. Recently went to have a wisdom tooth extracted I was having alot of anxiety but it went fine and was fast Dr. Val is awesome! I've had top wisdoms done by him in the past and would always prefer to see him for teeth issues.

Doctors are great. As for the dentist, not so much. They have extremely unhealthy ways of how to deal with patients with anxiety. They often don't like to deal with patients with anxiety. Don't waste your time here. Find a professional dentist that's local and has a good education.

Have visited a dozen times in the last 5 years, both for medical and dental.Always a positive experience, from the front desk to med staff. Courteous, knowledgable, and efficient. Dr. Val and Dr. Thornton are top notch dentists, and worked hard to save teeth that might have been lost ( pulled ) elsewhere. The dentists and doctors have graduated from top notch schools, such as McGill and Tufts. I would disregard one star reviews by the drug addled, the angry entitled, the unappreciative, or the mentally ill. We are very fortunate to have such a great, modern facility in our community !
