Immaculately maintained 39 acre park owned and operated by the Wilmette Park District. Great place to watch a sunset, fly a kite, and play sporting activities with kids. There is a tot lot at the west side (adjacent to the tennis courts) of the park with two sets of playground equipment (one for toddlers, the other for older children) and a swing set. We've found it to be a fun and safe place to let our kids play while meeting and visiting with other parents that live nearby. A tree-lined paved path crosses the park with two access points (one at Hunter Road; the other at Locust Road).

I am here nearly every day with my dogs, to run, on a bike, or to watch a soccer game. Lovely park with beautiful trees. I held back one star because this park has terrible drainage issues and holds lots of standing water every time it rains.
