My first time visiting this market... Loved it! Great prices. The market and hot food takeout area are joined with a door between them inside and separate entrances. There were at least six or seven menu items including: chicken, beef, with bed of rice and side beans...which goes fast. The employees are friendly and helpful. Spanish isn't my first language, but we were able to communicate with some effort. Products were well displayed and priced better than another store further away, which I now have no more need to shop. The market was clean and is now my new go to market!
Fairness and customer satisfaction still exist in this store. We brought back a cake, my daughter purchased the evening before, because it was stale and the icing tasted bad and metallic. We were expecting refusal based on past reviews. We were wrong. The lady at the cashier checked it and graciously accepted our return. We wanted to get another cake as an exchange. She was honest enough to admit that the other cake in the cooler maybe as bad. That's fairness and great consideration for its customers. Thank you for doing the right thing. We will continue to go back and purchase Dominican cake from this store. The past cake purchases we've made were all good and delicious, this was the first bad one.
I don’t know what happened to this place. I don’t know if they sold it to another company or what. This place used to be amazing with fresh everything and the vibe was excellent. I’ve gone there a few times recently and their hot food is old and dried out with empty bins still visible, their meat and dairy is always expired. I used to come here all the time but now I will never come back. They need to do an investigation at this place.
What a great company to deal with. I needed a large catering order completed early for my son's graduation party and they came in well before opening to ensure we had everything we needed. So kind and thoughtful, customer service doesn't always look like this so they have a loyal customer in me moving forward!
I am not to write any reviews but I have to this time. Be careful buying anything from this store. They sell old food and let their bread and other products grow mold. My husband not knowing went this morning to buy bread, and sure enough, mold on there! I tried calling them to complain but wont answer their phone. Very nasty place. They probably cook their hot food and with their old produce. Disgusting!!!
This place is the worst, the staff are extremely rude. I was standing by the register waiting to check out gor almost ten minutes, while o e lady was cleaning a counter another was having a conversation and the manager was on his cellphone. There was one other person in front of me also waiting. I asked if anyone was working the register all look at me, without answering me continued what they where doing. I left everything there and left. Horrible place. In spanish they are called jentes brutas.
Yesterday I purchased a full top sirloin ball of beef from meat section for freshness and requested for them to process it into thin tenderized steaks, and the left over into hamburger meat since it’s freshly cut. When I got home I began to separate the steaks into smaller packages of ziplock bags to prepare them throughout the week for y family. To my DISGUST ! I found a water bug had been grinned thru the tenderizing machine with the steak. I can see the legs and crushed body of this huge roach. This place has gone from one of the best places to shop for meats to the worst place. Don’t buy anything from them, they don’t care . I’m in the process of calling the health department on them and I dumped 40 dollars of meat in the garbage.
This used to be a good place to go to. But when the owner sold his store this place went really down fast. The food looks old and dry. The fish smell is unbearable. Then to make matters worse they changed the seating area next to the fish stand also everyone who walks in staires at you while you are eating. I wont be going back.
This place is conveniently located in Apopka on 436. This place is also known as Compare. I went there for lunch and had an amazing meal for 599. I also stopped by to place an order for catering. They have a catering deal for $89 but you can't be and serves about 20 people. This place has fresh meat and fresh seafood. If you're looking for a Latin supermarket this is the place that I would recommend because they have a little bit of everything. I hope this review helps.
When come to prices are very low. The service is very warm, like a mom & papa store . But where you can come with any problem. And there is always someone who can listen to you. The hot food has the best flavor, I have ever try anywhere else. A lots of varieties on international food. Like Peruvian, Argentina’s, Puerto Rican’s . And others Caribean’s. Countries. Very clean. I hope this store stay there for ever . I Love it ....
