Excellent selection of organic items, bulk foods, fresh locally grown produce, a by-the-pound honey and maple syrup station, (also laundry detergent),a visually appealing salad bar and hot food bar. I went in the morning before the hot foods were set up, but they post their hot foods for the week online, and they had quite a soup selection. The bakery had a variety of breakfast and dessert items. Store clerks were very helpful.

Hate to say this, but I have had very horrible customer service at the Concord Co-op and I will not be returning, ever. I've been frequenting this place over the years and I had wanted to become a member if the perks were good enough. My wife and I went in 3 weeks ago and spoke to some of the staff about what's included in the membership? Two staff, at separate times, in the same visit, confirmed the membership included 25% off everything in the store except beer, wine, and hot bar / sushi. Wow, I thought what a great deal. We are going to come here for all our raw nuts, bulk items, and meats that we need for our paleo diet. We sadly found out this discount, much like everything else in this store, is a farce. Today we decide the buy a membership in installments and make a purchase of some meats and raw nuts using the membership. To my dismay there was no discount, to which the clerk says none of the items you purchased were eligible for the membership discount. At which point my wife and me get into a debate with 3 staff members and after about 15 minutes the basement-dwelling manager Adam comes out. At each reiteration of our story, the clerks were more concerned about "when and who said" this misinformation about the membership, than the fact we just got bamboozled out of $25 and all I want is to get that back and get my membership cancelled. Three times we had to clarify WE JUST BOUGHT THE MEMBERSHIP TODAY, NOT THREE WEEKS AGO. They were hung up on the fact oh three weeks ago we can't get you your $25 back, our finance team has to cut a check and adjust the company's equity. Now we are getting frustrated, I say look, over on the counter is the membership form I just filled out... my name isn't even entered into your system as a member, there is no equity to adjust, we haven't used the membership, just refund my $25. Adam and the other clerks state that's not possible because the money had already entered the system and the finance department has to cut me a check for my $25. I say dude, I'm an accountant, that's not how accounting systems work, you guys are treating us like a bank where you get to use my $25 interest free because of your dishonest business practices. Now on principle we return the bacon and raw nuts we bought, Adam the manager runs the refund as credit... Even though it was a debit purchase. And great, another $50 gets held up in limbo even though debit purchases should be refunded in cash. This customer service manager Adam had many chances to make this right but claimed he didn't have the authority or power to do so, to which I say bull. He could have given us a $25 gift card or a discount on what we bought and I wouldn't be forced to leave a bad review. Now Concord Co-op you have my money and you get to hold onto it until you feel like returning it and I find this and this entire debacle untenable. That's not how you run an ethical business. Without your customers you are nothing. I hope you make this right very soon.

I can appreciate a small part of this sort. My only issue was the prices. Yeah I get it...you want great food, you gotta pay the price. Overall a great place.

I've been shopping here for years now, one of the best coops I have ever been part of. The quality of the produce is awesome, and the food they serve is top notch. I definitely recommend this place to buy high quality food that won't break the bank.

The Co-Op has a nice variety of items at there Salad bar, Olive bar and Hot bar. They post there hot bar menu on there web site Monday thru Friday. Everyone working there is very pleasant.
