This is part of the National Historic District of Concord TN.  Once a bustling marble mining community, and railroad stop it has since become a much more quiet and beautiful pocket of a by-gone era.  There are many buildings still standing from the bank to the General Store, they have changed owners and most are no longer open to the public.  The area saw the march of both armies during the civil war and relics are still occasionally uncovered.  Have a brief brush with the movie industry the movie "Fool Killer" (Original Title) had a scene shot on the main road, but Credited to Louisville TN Across the river.  The Church rings songs at certain times of the day and it is very easy to forget you are not 50 years earlier in time while here.

This is a wonderful church. We have a new minister, Charles Farmer, who is a blessing.
