this school is a rip off it dosen't pay to attend this college unless you live in Portland. My job recommended this school for teacher certification (NYC DOE) this school does not give student teacher hours nor do they write a letter of recommendation it feel like i waisted my money and time at this school, I don't know why my job would recommend a school that docent help their staff. i would give them no stars if i can. Now i have a Masters degree that basically can be used aa a coaster.

Scam university. Overpriced. Bait and Switch tactics to make you take more prereq classes. Never trust a uni that doesn't have application instructions on the website.

The instructors and learning experience was amazing. But this school took every penny of my financial aid and with no warning left me $100,000 in debt, with no degree and no help when I was only 1 semester away from graduating with my bachelors degree. They basically kicked me out and would offer no assistance with scholarships or any route of how I might succeed. The majority of a courses taken at CU will not transfer to any other institution so I've been out of luck completely. This shouldn't happen to students. The financial aid dept should've been well aware at the time I started attending whether Id have enough funds to complete my degree. And if I didnt have enough they should've told me or not accepted me in. At minimum they could've acted with compassion and aided me in finding a way to succeed, but they very harshly and abruptly with no heads up, a week before classes began told me I had no more money and I was basically kicked out It seems students should have some protection against schools doing this to them and I'm not at all happy with this school. It's obvious they are all about the money and have little concern for their students versus the weight of their pocketbook. I hope someone will hear my story and provide me some help of sort or at leasr that Concordia University gets some sort of repremanding for what they've done to low income students. Please beware if you are one of the lower income students attempting to attend here. They cater to the rich and you're likely better off getting your degree and education somewhere that isn't aiming to rape you for every $ you're worth. But admittedly, the class sizes are small, instructors are outstanding, hands on learning, in the field practice, gorgeou campus, etc. It's a lovely experience! If you can afford to complete your degree! Approx $100,000 per Bachelors degree not including books. 💚

I'll be finishing the M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction: ESOL program in 16 weeks. This is a 13 month program and it has been incredibly challenging. I do feel that the classes slowly get more difficult so it is easier to transition. A lot of reading, papers, and assignments (Mon-Sat). I have overall been really pleased with the professors that I've had and the colleagues. Without them, my learning experience wouldn't be as great as it has been so far. I'm so thankful for finding this program, but to those considering the 13 month online program, it is costly ($697/credit) and very busy. If you aren't organized and disciplined, this isn't the program for you.
