I've been a client of Confederate Woods Veterinary Hospital for almost 14 years and wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Their experienced staff has always cared for my pet family with kindness, attentiveness, and compassion. I think we've had almost every possible malady from heart defects to ear infections, and the doctors at Confederate Woods have always looked after my pets as if they were their own. They are truly dedicated professionals who provide the best veterinary care in the region. If you're looking for the best veterinary hospital in Gettysburg, look no further, Confederate Woods is it!

While we were traveling our dog became sick they took us in completely without question and treated our dog perfectly and did not take advantage of Travelers and did not charged us reasonably

My experience here was amazing. I was 3 hours from home with my two dogs, and one got sick. I was so scared and worried about my little guy who was shaking from pain and there were only two vets near my hotel, so I chose this one because of proximity and I'm so glad I did. At 8am sharp I called Confederate Woods and spoke to a very friendly receptionist who accommodated us no problem. I was able to get an 11am appointment and my experience was nothing short of fantastic. You can tell that the staff truly love animals and treated my baby like he was their own. Dr. Becker and the vet tech (I never got her name) were so patient and sweet towards him and my other dog, too. She identified the problem, gave him some shots, and I was sent home with detailed instructions on when/how to administer his meds. 20 minutes after his pain med and antibiotic shots, his fever was gone, he wasn't shaking, and he was pretty much back to normal and the next day it was like he was never even sick. The only negative thing I have to say is that this vet is three hours from home and I wish I could take my dogs here for all their veterinary needs. If you live in the area, go to Confederate Woods.
