My doctor was great but the medical records department is a joke. I requested my documents be sent 5 different times. Finally, after 2 weeks, I got them to send the documents. But they sent the wrong records and as a result of their lateness and mistakes, I have to wait another year to go to school. Is it really so difficult to fax some immunization records? Do your job.

Wish I could give 0 stars. The doctors themselves are great however I asked for my daughter medical records to be sent over to my new doctor inns different state. I filled out the forms in may. It's now October and still have not been released. My daughter needs surgery and they can't do it until they have all of her records so it is serious and needs to be taken care of. I won't be returning here.

The billing has always been a nightmare! If you need info transferred, if there is a mistake made on billing (plan on it), your going to to make multiple trips trying to get them to correct there mistake. O your going to leave thinking thank heavens this has finally been taking care of but this temporary relief is going to be short lived. The phone experience is not the way to go but if you choose this route I highly recomend that you record yourself becuse you will be transferred multiple times and have to repeat yourself every time, until you get in your car and drive their to speak with the billing department. I have found that morning is way better to deal with issues then at other times. Good luck and good health

When i first went to see a doctor after moving here I had all my medical records from my time in the service and my VA disability paperwork. Dispite the fact I a full record of treatment, I was basically accused of selling my drugs and not taking them, and how lucky I was to see a doctor familiar with drug abuse. I was offended, and it only went down will from there. As a retired veteran I can tell you if you never served in the military, the health care here is a civilian version of the VA Hospital

When I first moved to the valley, I appreciated Central Washington Hospital and their staff motivated by compassion for their clients. As time goes on, this facility and it's doctoral staff seem more motivated by numbers rather than caring for their patients. Time and money seem to take priority over well-being and personal attention. The nursing staff I've seen are the exception at Confluence health as every nurse I've encountered has been phenomenal here. I know of several respectable physicians who left this facility as changes were being implemented because their conscience guided them away. Dealing with billing is another interesting struggle. There are apparently 4 levels of outpatient visit billing, which can be charged at the doctor's discretion. The billing department wasn't even able to give us criteria for what makes a level 1 (low cost) visit versus a level 4 (high cost) visit. They were also not able to transfer me to anyone in their audit department to shine some light on the issue. Rather, I've been instructed to file an "incident report" to which someone will respond in 30 - 45 days. I can't recommend enough to seek recurring care from another facility if you possibly can. Like I said, CWH used to be great but what it's become isn't good for regular care.
