We are an Ottawa Jewellery Store specializing in custom jewellery design, jewellery repair & restoration as well as appraisals. Located near Westboro.

Story

Conger's Jewellers was originally an expert jewellery appraisal service in Ottawa. The business began in 1981. At that time, there were very few qualified Gemologists in the city. David Conger graduated at the top of his class at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) as a Graduate Gemologist, in 1980. His studies were in residence, Santa Monica, CA.

Within five years, 30 of Ottawa's fine jewellery stores were offering jewellery appraisals on-site as a result of Conger's independant jewellery appraisal service.

Conger's Jewellers is now a jewellery store located at Hampton Park Plaza, Carling and Kirkwood Ave. We offer custom jewellery design, jewellery repair & restoration services and appraisals for insurance and estate purposes.

Working with David on my custom diamond ring was wonderful. The knowledge and experience he has in the industry was apparent right away, as well as his love of the craft. The entire process was easy and communication was always open. All of the design elements I wanted captured were perfectly executed and I received a truly beautiful ring. Excellent service from Conger's throughout the whole process of building a custom ring! Valerie was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The ring was delivered on time under a relatively tight deadline. Every interaction with the staff was a positive experience and I felt that everything was efficient and ran smoothly. Most importantly, the ring was gorgeous and exactly what I had in mind. Thanks again!

I bought my ring online when I was in Vancouver and brought it into Congers' Jewellers after a recommendation from the jeweller who resized the ring, to have it appraised. David was thorough in his explanations before, during, and after the appraisal. Afterwards it was discovered that some features of my ring were not as advertised. Using David's appraisal as documentation I was able to fully recover the amount I overpaid for the ring. David offered good advice when I asked him how to approach asking for a refund. I'd come back for future jewelry related needs.

Conger’s Jewellers is a truly rare find in Ottawa! David Conger has a true passion for his trade and genuinely cares about every detail to ensure you get exactly what you want. My now fiancée and I spent months looking at rings but couldn't find the one. Knowing exactly what my fiancée wanted, I contacted David to discuss designing a delicate and classy ring. David spent a huge amount of time reviewing different setting options and details to ensure that the end product was exactly what I wanted. He hit it out of the park in every way. The ring is absolutely stunning and beyond anything I could have ever found in any other jewelry store. A huge thank you to David for making our engagement day that much more special!
