Congregation Beth Shalom of the Blue Hills has been based in Milton, MA since the late 1940's. We opened our brand new building in May 2016 and want to share it with you!

Story

Congregation Beth Shalom of the Blue Hills is an egalitarian, multigenerational congregation that welcomes diversity, spirituality and community. We value Jewish living and the communal principles of Tzedakah and Tikun Olam.
As the merger of Temple Shalom of Milton and Temple Beth-El of Quincy in August, 2013, we have changed our name to Congregation Beth Shalom of the Blue Hills.

Based in Milton, Massachusetts since the late 1940′s, Beth Shalom of the Blue Hills has a long history in our town. This deep commitment to the town of Milton has led the congregation to search for three years until we finally found a location for our new home on land generously donated to the congregation by Marvin and Andrea Gordon.

Mission

Congregation Beth Shalom of the Blue Hills serves as a House of Prayer (Bet Tefilah), a House of Assembly (Bet Knesset), and a House of Study (Bet Midrash) in which the spectrum of traditional Jewish expression is cultivated, protected and nurtured.
