Total hypocrite. Tax cuts he voted for ads to debt by 1.5 Trillion Dollars that our kids (like his 3 sons) and grandkids will have to pay for. Republicans who say they are fiscal conservatives are bogus. Update: Pat has finally found his soulmate!! His happiness is certainly more important than constituent issues 😘.

Patrick Meehan - You undeniable traitor. Any self-respecting Reagan Republican would have personally physically removed you from the R Party. How dare you sponsor legislation designed to further erode away the ONLY freedom remaining that separates America from the rest of the government-smothered world - the 2nd Amendment, and now, your proposed legislation doesn't stop at the 2nd Amendment, but proceeds to attack almost the entire remaining original Bill of Rights with its "Big Brother" mandates. If you had any sense at all, you would be ashamed of yourself. Enjoy the Office now, because in a year's time, you'll be retired.

$1654 per year more income tax due for the middle class in Meehan's district.

PHILADELPHIA — As the tax plan in Congress heads to a conference committee, Americans Against Double Taxation coalition member Otto Voit warns it raises taxes on the working class people of Pennsylvania by cutting the state and local tax (SALT) deduction.

“They should be concerned,” Voit told The Rich Zeoli Show on 1210 AM WPHT. “It will increase taxes for people in Bucks, Montgomery and some people in Philadelphia County…for people earning between 50,000 and 200,000.”

He broke down numbers for specific districts, saying “in Congressman Meehan’s district (Pennsylvania’s 7th congressional district), they will pay $1,645 more per year, Congressman Ryan Costello’s (6th congressional district), $1,477, Congressman Michael Fitzpatrick’s (8th congressional district), $1,513. With SALT, this is a great tax reform for business and individuals. Without, it’s only a good business reform package”.

The value of homes in Pennsylvania will go down this year, Voit said.

“Property values in PA will decrease between 8 and 12 percent,” he explained. “Not only will people pay more in taxes but when they go to sell their homes, they will be worth less.”

How do I assign zero stars?  One star is too high for anyone especially a congressman who has sat on the Ethics Committee judging others while using tax payer money to pay for silencing his own immoral and unethical behavior.

The tax bill you voted to enact will hurt the middle class!  Stop voting for the Mercers and start voting for the interests of your constituents.  We tax payers are your constituents - not the corporations and Mercers.
