My mom and I have small dogs and the small dog pen/puppy pen just has big gaps by all 3 gates to get in and out and my dog can slip right through so I can't let him loose in there and that's the whole reason we got a membership. So if you have a big dog the park is great but not so much for small dogs. And the first and only time we tried to do the walking trail a big skunk was right by the entrance and I don't want to deal with my dog getting sprayed.
