If this rest area is any indication of what Connecticut holds its not very welcoming as the Welcome Center was shut down two years ago and only sparse vending machines along with semi clean restrooms. There is an area for your pets to go to the restroom and plenty of seating stretch your legs out from your long car drive. There are lots of birds and bird feeding stations here however which is nice. It would be nice if they were to reopen the welcoming Center. There are lots of pamphlets handstands so you can explore Connecticut on your own.

It is Connecticut.  

The only reason for Connecticut existing is to hand out outrageous tickets and pick your pocket.

 If you think I'm kidding, ask any trucker. They will drive a hundred miles just to never set foot in that corrupt state. Have a nice day, avoid Connecticut.

Connecticut is Worse than New York, and on par with New Jersey. If they were honest they would post a keep out rather than welcome sign.

Locks up building at 1530 hrs. Doesnt reopen till 0800. Outhouse only restrooms past that. Vending extremely high. $2.25 for a soda. 
Grounds look pretty clean, that's a plus.

Simple rest stop. Clean and neat, nothing fancy. Port o potties outside for when the rest stop itself is closed. Vending machines and such inside when it is open. Convenient stop on the way into Connecticut.

Quiet,  good spot to get some rest. There's not much for a dog walk and the inside does close at 3:30 but we like stopping there because it is peaceful. If you need aquick bathroom break the do have porta-potties.
