People are relatively good but this is not what depends on them.
Getting in a touch by phone - very difficult.
Neither search system is giving their exact website.
Too complicated to find information you need.
Working hours are beyond any concerns.
No options to make a passport or visit Russia in a case of a real urgency:
It is easier to launch a moon.
The only concern of us, living in Canada - is a life threatening and that is it.
No ability to connect to a Russian Counsel at all.
IF YOUR PASSPORT OUT OF DATE - YOU NEED TO APPROVE YOUR CITIZENSHIP IN RUSSIA BY TAKING EIHER 2 VITNESSES WITH YOU OR OTHER MEANS.. - IS THERE ANY COMPUTERS IN SYNC IN RUSSIAN CONSULATE WITH RUSSIA??? ALL IS HANDLED THROUGH a MOSCOW FINALLY! AND I SUGGEST IN A MANUAL PAPER MODE THEN.. :)

Any country may tell in a second if your are a citizen or not - even in a most of a third level countries...

Nobody cares about a life of a common Russian citizen now..
I really appreciate this all. 
Thanks a lot Putin's system for not giving me ability even to bury my relatives in Russia because of your bureaucracy that is really  beyond any human accepted rules.
I could get a such permission in any other country without a problem and a waste of my time.. And with some human respect for my case..
I may live with that but I discontinue anything that may come into my mind about the Russia.. Needs about 100 years of a great new efforts to become a bit close to a real world. 
You need to run fast in order even to keep standing at a spot - not clear?

The only country and a "motherland" that I really start hating now..

I understand that maybe I am a bit emotional now, but how would anybody feel in a such case I answer? When you are treated like piece of a sh..

NOT HUMAN FRIENDLY AS ALL(except for a really good people trying to help but not having any world around principals or instructions to do that properly based on a human rights)..

My experience with the Russian Embassy was horrible! For three months I was trying to make an appointment with the consular in Vancouver but I couldn't. I sent tens of emails and made lots of phone calls. No body answers to phone calls, and if they answer they are not polite and they just want to get over with you quickly,  no reply to the emails and if they reply they don't answer to your question clearly. In my case I requested information how to make an appointment with the consular in Vancouver but they sent me the booking information for Toronto! Then I emailed again my request but they didn't answer. There is a phone number for Vancouver but no body answers, I left a message no reply, I called again to leave a message but the mail box was full!

Terrible customer service, soooo hard to get in touch never answer emails or calls. Rude and always try to put responsibilities on someone else. I wish I never had to deal with them.

Обращались сюда в октябре 2017, поскольку по паспортным вопросам для ребенка в Торонто временно не принимают. Перед поездкой получили полные и грамотные консультации по телефону (дозвониться проблем не составило), подача документов в Оттаве тоже прошла очень быстро, приняли даже немного раньше, чем по времени записи в очередь.
Сотрудники приветливы, доброжелательны. 
После подачи документов в нереально короткие сроки все было сделано и отправлено по почте - большое за это спасибо.
Вы молодцы!

Appealed here in October 2017, because of passport issues for a child in Toronto is temporarily unavailable. Before the trip we received full and competent consultations by phone (no problems with that), the filing of documents in Ottawa was also very quick, they were accepted even a little earlier than the time for recording in the queue.
Staff are friendly, helpfully.
After filing documents in an unrealistically short time, everything was done and sent by mail - great for it thanks.
