I will never go to this doctor office again. Dr. Cook or should I say caveman cook is clearly still living in the 1960's. I went to this office because my knees were hurting after I attempted the physical agility test for the police department. I am in my late 30's but in decent shape. At any rate when I went to get checked out to see why I was in pain I explained to Dr. Cook what actions led to this. He proceeded to first give me a look of what were you thinking being almost 40 trying out for the police department. He then told me that women shouldn't be police officers nor should they be involved in combat. He stated we don't have the strength basically to protect ourselves and if we were partnered with a man he could get hurt having to protect us. This was such a sexist statement and I was offended and would never go to a doctor who has these beliefs. Women save your money and insurance. He doesn't deserve it.

I like Dr. Charles Cook alot. He's a down to earth DO that's not afraid to tell you diet is a viable part of your treatment. I truly value Dr. Cook as my family doctor.

Questionable sanitation practices. Pee cups can be found EVERYWHERE in the office at any hour of the day with no lids or even a cover. So urine sanitation is definitely a concern. Doctors (and assistants) do not wash their hands before or after interacting with the patients. One assistant's hand smelled like... I don't even want to guess - I had to hold my breath as she took my temp. The viral specialist will preach "condoms, condoms condoms", but when you need rapid results - their idea of such a thing is to make you wait 7 days, then send you a paper letter - what are we? The Flinstones? What about the importance of EARLY DETECTION?? There's no website or other electronic means to access your data - the only way you get your results is by visiting the office, or getting a paper letter in the mail. Not ideal for someone living in 2010 or later... They are nice people, which is why they get 2 stars instead of 1. I'm firing this PCP because they can't keep with the times and have a disgusting office with questionable sanitation practices...

Dr. Cook has been my doctor for more than six years. I have found him to be exceptional. Unlike most doctors, he respects his patient's time. He does not overbook his schedule. His waiting room is never overflowing. The longest wait I have ever experienced was less than 10 minutes. In addition, my experience has been that Dr. Cook spends more time with his patients than is normal in the health care profession. I would recommend Dr. Cook to everyone.

Great experience, until billing. I realize that navigating insurance is tricky. What I did not expect was my procedure to be billed from a different company, with a different tax id which took place in the same physical location, by the same doctor, to be denied for a claim. To be fair, the procedure I had done had explicit warning about the practice not dealing with the insurance company. Fine, I can fill out paper work. What was not clear to me is that Dr. Cook would bill from a different company, which caused my otherwise cover-able cost to come out of my pocket. When I inquired about why this happened, or what could be done to help me out, I got nowhere. Nice enough doctor, questionable billing practices.
