This was the worst dentist experience I could have imagined. I read the other reviews and thought that maybe just because I was getting a cleaning and it was covered by insurance that I wouldn't have any problems. The woman who cleaned my teeth was very cold toward me from the start. She did not introduce herself, smile, in fact the only thing she said was my name to call me out of the waiting room. I understand that we're all human and we all have our days but the energy was very, very off. I sat down in the chair and told her I did NOT want X-rays done, as I'm into holistic care and don't feel comfortable getting them done. Then Dr. Zamani came in and tried to convince me that not getting the x-ray was a mistake and argued with me saying it was new "digital" technology and there was no radiation. I'm not a fool. I know these establishments make most of their money off doing x-rays and that it was far more beneficial for them than me. I placated him and said I would do the x-ray because, honestly, I was intimidated into it. But when he left the room I told the woman that it made me very uncomfortable to get it done. At which point she rolled her eyes, and said "do you even want the cleaning done?" I said, "yes! That's all I came here for today." She put on some rubber gloves and got to work without saying another word to me. I've never had a more painful teeth cleaning in my life. In fact, I've never had a painful cleaning ever. I felt like she was purposely trying to hurt me. I asked her to be more gentle and she just said "open wider" and yanked my mouth open wider. After the cleaning my mouth was bloody and in pain. Dr. Zamani came back in to look over my teeth and said "I'm not going to argue with you again, we'll only do 4 x-ray images." I told him he would be doing NO x-rays on MY mouth. He began yelling at me, waving his finger in my face, WHILE I WAS STILL LAYING DOWN IN THE CHAIR! Very vulnerable position to be in. He told me legally he had to or he'd get in trouble by the government. I knew he was lying so I still refused and he told me to never come back again. NO ONE COULD PAY ME TO GO BACK TO THIS PLACE. I'm writing this review because I'm pretty traumatized from this experience and I never want anyone to have to go through what I went through. This place doesn't even deserve one star. They should be put out of of business. Incredibly unprofessional and confrontational.

I've been going here for the past 2 years and love it (as much as one can love going to the dentist).  The staff knows you by name and always gives fantastic service!  I would recommend this dentist office to anyone in the area.

I have been going here for years and have never had a better experience seeing a dentist. Everyone there is extremely professional and personable. Let's just say i have always left with a smile...

Dr. Zamani is to dentistry what Mr. Miyagi is to karate. Don't question this- just go see him and you'll see what I mean. He is quick and sure-handed, and does an amazing job on everything from cleaning to root canals with a smile. He even updates me on the status of my dental insurance every time I see him and advises when to schedule appointments based on annual coverage so I don't incur expenses. I used to live near his Brookline office but even though I moved, I would never think of seeing another dentist. Like a good mechanic- you've got to stick with the honest guys who know their craft.
