Tbh at cooper its ok but the teachers give me alot of homework and its rly annoying and they actually expect me to do all of it and they also give us homework on fridays like who does that and its rlly annoying that as i said to much homework and theres literary fights there to and the only good thing about. Cooper is that they let us use our phones ,see our ,friends and that we go home

I hate it here, as a student personally I can assure you that the majority of the staff only have this job to get paid. While this is very understandable I see no point in sending a student to ISS for telling the teacher that you didn't understand what she had said. The faculty mainly Me. Rawls Is a person I believe unfit for administration of students, always telling and as a teacher calls him he dos'nt even bother looking at the recorded video or listen to accounts of the students. I was very disgusted by the food quality as well, multiple times had me and my friend found nails, hair, and other food in our meal. Not even mentioning the amount of grease that usualy slided off the food. Accounts of bullying and other things that happen are taken very lightly. I had once told a teacher about me being called stupid and being hit, she brushed it off as if I had said nothing. I also find it stupid that students only have the limy of 6 absences out of rufflu 124 days. At they saying that we are to control ourselves from being sick? You art aloud to be picked if you had missed so many days, or had been picked up or tardy. All in all, parents if you are looking for a school to transfer to, rethink coming here.

Last week my child was bullied by another student. She called me from the girls bathroom locked in a stall while several girls accosted her. I asked my child to put me on speaker phone so the girls could hear her mother and they ran. I called the principal and didn't get an answer so I asked for the administrator. Once I was on the line with the administrator she assured me she would handle the situation and my child wouldn't be bullied again. The next day at school my child calls me again and tells me the same child is bullying her again. I call to speak with the principal and again she is unavailable, at this point, I am pissed! I leave work and go to the school to get my child as well as have a meeting with the administrator and the principal. When I arrive, immediately all kinds of excuses were given I asked the administrator why she didn't follow the policy regarding bullying and or instigating a fight? She had no answer for me other than that she did issue discipline to the child. So my question at this point is what was the discipline as the child is at school today bullying my child. Of course she couldn't tell me that and I didn't expect an answer for it. I guess it was silent lunch. However after this meeting I made it very clear to the principal that I felt they had dropped the ball in regards to my child and that I would be filing a formal complaint. The next day my child comes home and states kids are coming to her telling her the administrator is going around asking students if my child did something very inappropriate in class which I will not put here because it is very disgusting. I requested a call from the principal yesterday to discuss this and she called back while I was at work so I called her back and no call back. Fast forward to today, I go to get my child for a dentist apt and I heard the attendance lady call the teacher and tell her to release my child. 10 minutes later she hadn't arrived. I called my child to ask if she was headed up so that we could leave for the apt she stated she had not been called out yet. I advised my child that they were called and to come on and we left. 1 to 2 hrs later I get a call from the school officer, he states that I came to the school unruly and was cursing which I did not! And that I am no longer welcome at the school. ha ha ha I attempt to explain to him what I had been through over the last several days regarding the school and of course he stated that I am making this up, he had no facts regarding the incident with my child and proceeded to tell me I didn't have the facts. At this point I am sure this is retaliation. I have never had a issue with a school nor have I ever been banned from a school my child attends.. I am momma bear and I will do whatever it takes to protect my child from potential harm! My child has been enrolled at this school maybe a little over a month and this is our welcome! The principal at this school told me herself she doesnt know of every incident that takes place and allows the administrators to make the calls, she had no idea about the bullying the day before as I made her aware when I arrived at the school the second day this went on. The administrator also advised my child to not call me when she is in a situation at school. I will now file another complaint and I will continue until there is some kind of accountability taking place at this school. I don't have to visit the school to achieve this.

this school has no respect for the students and want to blame things on us when it was there fault 100%...but like this school is straight trash and whoever reading this needs to know that LMAO, dats why i hate comin' here.

I'm a student and I learned Dat they only bring out the good food near the end of the year like BBQ chicken and Da non completely fake pizza.Like foreal. The food is straight trash.if u think about having our kid here make sure u ask about the food and taste it. Also these teachers make situations sound SOOOO much worse than they really are.They emphasize on what kids are doing wrong than on how to fix the situation.
