Our family purchased an RV from Cooper's last fall.  Everyone we came in contact with was pleasant, straightforward and knowledgeable.  That carried a lot of weight with us as we were newbies to RVing and asked a barrage of questions to everyone we encountered there.  The RV was prepped, clean and delivered on time. (I have since found that not every dealer preps their merchandise as well as Cooper's does.... Full propane tanks, new battery, Plug and Play!) Their delivery person was also courteous and allowed us time to level and position the trailer properly before leaving. 

I have no connection to Cooper's.  But I did promise myself that I would put some positive remarks online as i am a local business-owner as well and it seems 99% of the time people will only bother to write a bad review.  If you are in the market they appear to value your business.

As someone who gets moved around the country for work it is hard to build a relationship with local companies esp RV dealers as I have found over the years.   

I was trying to buy a new set of batteries for my camper.   I called to start a conversation about batteries with this business in an attempt to keep money local rather than going to amazon or other online retailers.  In addition I was feeling the company out as far as future business/ trailer purchases go.

Unfortunately as I have experienced  at other RV centers and car dealerships If you were not local to buy a camper from them, they do not want your business.   Was pushed off to another dealer ship that sells RV's even though I made it clear that I was just looking to buy new batteries and the batteries charge off Solar,  Something I would expect to find expert knowledge from a camping trailer dealer.

 I understand the profits may be greater in sales,  But if you turn away new business, even the smallest purchase.   You are turning down a customer for life. 

I guess its possible they just dont sell batteries...  But wouldn't that have been easier to say on the phone?
