We have been using Copeland Accounting for 15 years for personal and business and have never had an issue!! Mike is thorough, always clarifies any questions we have and brings up questions we did not. Definitely recommend to anyone.

I have used several different options for tax preparation in the past, including H&R Block and Turbo Tax - on my own. Copeland Accounting is the BEST choice I've ever made! Thanks!

I am the individual that "Joe" is responding to. This person is not my client, but an investment advisor to one of my clients. I don't even handle IRA deposits. My client has admitted that the whole situation is his fault and I had nothing to do with the problem. The IRS form that could fix the error is not a simple fix and does not guarantee that the error can be fixed. It's a process that has to be gone through. "Joe" did not research the form and bring it to my attention, we just discussed it on the phone. It is true that I had never used the form before, because this is such a rare problem, I have never come across it before in my 19 years in this profession. This has not screwed up any returns and there is not any more of a chance of audit than there is with any one doing any one's taxes. I have never said I was a CPA to any one. I am an EA (Enrolled Agent to practice before the IRS) and that is how I present myself. This person "Joe" once again is not my client and never has been. "Joe" and I have a mutal client. "Joe" is reviewing me on this site as if he were my client.

Totally screwed up our IRA deposits. There was an IRS form that could fix his error. I had to research it and bring it to his attention. But he said he'd never used that form before and dragged his feet until the window of time closed. This screwed up our personal returns and then our small business' return too. We may get audited now and he has now changed his story completely and says he will not provide any help if we get audited. I mistakenly thought he was a CPA but he is NOT so beware!
