I love Copperfield' s Books. It's a wonderful store to Christmas shop. I find something for nearly everyone. There is a good selection of not only books, but also fun gift items like socks, utility knives, toys, and more. Stress free experience and helpful service. Oh, and stay for a coffee afterwards.

Nice downtown San Rafael bookstore.  Nice coffee and snacks too.  Worth browsing, and they will order for you whatever book you wish.  Pleasant spots to snack and visit, or to read your new book.

When I worked in Petaluma for 10+ years I fell in love with Copperfield's Books. This place feels just like the mother-store. A great community bookstore.
