Overpriced for average food, but you can’t beat the view!  

Perhaps because I live down the street I would expect to pay more reasonable prices, but I would describe it more as resort pricing.  I can understand the premium for convenience if you were staying on property, but as such I don't expect we will be there frequently when we can make our way to Scottsdale.   We've probably made a half dozen visits in the last 6 months,  mostly for brunch, and I can say that the best experience we had was the happy hour offering during late summer 2017.  Do more of that and we'll be there for life!

Edited: visited again on 4/13/18 for drinks and appetizer. After being seated, we waited 15 minutes before a server took our drink order. After another 10 minutes, he comes back to let us know that “in a freak accident” there were no more martini glasses. Odd. Another 10 minutes and drinks were finally served.  I’m not sure why, but the service is always mediocre at best. I like the convenience of a place close to home, but it’s just not worth it here.

Wonderful boutique hotel with breath taking views of the mountains, large rooms and bath, fireplace, cozy balcony. A beautiful entryway and lobby with many seating areas is adjacent to the bar and restaurant. More views of the mountains, Fountain Hills, and the water fountain from the outdoor dining area. Amenities include a spa, two pools, workout room, tennis and pickleball courts. Healthy food and smoothies can be purchased on the lower level or by the pool.

Luxurious small natural desert resort hotel with stunning grounds, only 26 rooms and quiet hilltop location. Check in at night was beautifully lit and welcoming. My room had the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. Fresh and clean upon arrival. Gas fireplace made it so comfy and restful. Gorgeous huge stone and tile bathroom with generous soaking tub, separate toliet room, and glass walk in shower. A balcony with a serene view of the golf course and valley below. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.  Not the cheapest, but I scored a last minute booking for a great price for a place like this. Fountain Hills is a beautiful community built amongst the desert in harmony with nature. CopperWynd captures that resplendence artfully.

Beautiful, clean resort with friendly staff and amazing views from the rooms. Favorite things are the gym (which has an Olympic barbell rack), fireplaces in the rooms, and awesome restaurant that has great food all times of day. Enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again! 
Special shout out to morning waitress Julie! She provides excellent service and is definitely an asset to the resort.

We recently hosted a celebration of our 40th wedding anniversary at CopperWynd, and we could not have been more pleased. Everyone we worked with was fantastic - from Jenna Ybarra, who did a terrific job with event planning and was such a pleasure to work with - to Chef Richie, who outdid himself with the beautiful nibbles that he created for our event - to Kassi and her staff who expertly managed the event itself. Every detail was covered, and with a smile! We were able to relax & enjoy our celebration knowing that we were in very capable hands. And of course the setting itself is stunning. We would highly recommend CopperWynd as the ideal venue for a special celebration.
